Title Spooky in Love Spoiler
This is disappointing because I was enjoying this drama so much and they decided to ruin it all. Why did this…
I don’t feel quite THAT harsh but I’m also let down by episodes 9 & 10. Maybe I feel particularly disappointed because I just finished Our Sticky Love and that show actually got a lot better as it went along and instead of a trope-y romcom became a very moving story with an unexpected amount of action sequences.

The latest two episode left something to be desired. I wonder if the drama suffered from being too short. Maybe…
You wrote exactly what I wrote just a few comments above. Instead of doing the fun detective work with ghosts (or even investigating her accident), they spent way too much time on corporate intrigues, corruption frame up and now a breakup 🙄😳

Title Spooky in Love Spoiler
So this SFL waited 12 years to propose to her, and then the ML comes along and proposes after just 6 months =)))…
And he may have killed his brother too 🙄

I hope the last two episodes will be good but episodes 9 & 10 were a bit disappointing. Not only did the writers spent an episode and a half on corporate intrigues, now we all dislike ML’s grandma and have the breakup trope 🤨🥺🙄

Wow, this was much better than expected. Not only does this drama get better in the second half (as opposed to many recent dramas which start off strong but then become less interesting), the drama is actually quite deep & touching 🥰 (despite what trolls with 0 hours viewed may claim in the comments/reviews 🙄). Would highly recommend!

This is a great REALISTIC drama but it does touch on more mature serious topics (corporate workplace, gaslighting,…
You are welcome! Was just trying to think of something that may have slipped under the radar. Two other pretty fun dramas that aren’t super serious were “You Are My Lover Friend” and “The Day of Becoming You”.

Having so much time in the last episodes dedicated to 4th most important couple was quite puzzling 🤨

I watched the first episode a little and it seemed very serious and mostly about their corporate lives. One of…
This is a great REALISTIC drama but it does touch on more mature serious topics (corporate workplace, gaslighting, a romantic partner who becomes controlling, etc.). If I may suggest, try “My Boss” (2024 full length drama, 36 episodes). It only has 7.9 on MDL but I think many people are confusing it with other “My Boss” dramas (including a short format drama). Anyway, the real My Boss drama is very lovely and relatively low stress. The couple are very sweet and, despite premise not being very original, it’s very good overall. We all know C-dramas can drag on for too long but this was one of the rare cases when I wished there were more episodes 🥰

Warning to everyone: do NOT attempt to watch this on MangoTV’s YouTube channel unless you can understand Chinese. English subtitles are absolutely horrible and you will not be able to understand anything. I had watched this show multiple times (on Viki) but could only watch first 10-15 minutes on YouTube right now — subtitles are so bad, even I couldn’t keep up 🤯😳🫣

Will we have to endure a temporary separation or worse > the dreaded “Nobel idiocy” trope?? 🤔🫣
2ML will definitely TRY to make ML leave FL “for her own good”.

omg that scene throughout the end of ep19 TXW's acting 🥹🥹😭😭 i cried with her. shes such a pretty crier…
I’m glad she also gave him a speech about how dumb he was to hide away and avoid his friends. There were much, much better ways for him to deal with this situation.

seems like they gonna pull a doctor-patient trope w shen fuxuan and that girl?
Hopefully 🤞 He really needs a girl because at this point he’s like 4th ML / 7th character after three likely couples

ep14 - jin baihui's storyline has been one of my favorites so far. it's brought me to tears
Her storyline is probably the one that more people can relate to. She’s like a lead in a typical high school/college drama.

is hari's mother the bigger villain or minhwan??
He is definitely bad. Mom is okay as of now. We’ll see if she appreciates ML getting together with FL though.

This year all the dramas feel similar to previous dramas...the apartment job feels like my sweet mobster, spooky…
Is “My Bias, My Boss” as good as “Her Private Life”? That show was surprisingly good and very deep in later episodes.

Is this drama really horror? how much horror have in it? can someone help me?
It’s more comedic than scary or supernatural. Even the ghosts look like real people and not mutilated bodies. So a few spooky moments but nothing scary 👻

I always thought Ting Ting and Qi Yan would be a couple but we're almost at the end and she has shown zero interest…
I’d be fine either way. If they decide not to date, it’d be quite realistic actually. The ramen lady seems very sweet 😊

I agree with you in general but here 2ML is clearly an evil guy not just a longtime friend of FL who is hopelessly…
Totallt valid point. If this had a ghost 👻 per episode without other distractions it’d have worked well (I’m pretty sure Hotel del Luna was like that). But I think K-dramas in recent years (and maybe even prior to that) have had a tendency to throw too many things at us (too many plot lines) instead of just focusing on 1-2 plot lines. As a result, things get messy like what happened in “Destined with You” where there were way too many secondary plot lines that distracted from the main story about lead characters.
