The writing has been good so far so I have a hope the explanation will make sense. Not like the explanation in, say, Lighter & Princess (love that show but the explanation for ML going to prison was not written well).

ML is not bad. He’s super green flag when it comes to FL. It honestly feels like some people just fast-forwarded/skipped some parts and didn’t realize why ML was on a different math competition team than FL. But if you pay attention, everything is explained. Having said that, one of the goals of this drama is to show difficulties & adversity faced by young people, so throughout the drama everyone makes some mistakes which they reflect on and do better. No one is perfect all the time and people can make mistakes sometimes.

Based on the comments from the lead actress, the intent was to show school life, growing up and dealing with adversity. So this will probably be like WIFTY where college & adult life takes up less episodes.

I can’t wait for haters to disappear and for ratings to go up. This drama continues to be #2 on iQIYI so it’s very popular (#1 is Overdo). And recent episodes have been good too. Just hope we have a good explanation for the separation between the leads 🙏

There’s an explanation for why he had to be on a different team than FL when it came to math competition but maybe those people fast-forwarded and didn’t understand anything. This is a really great drama so far (episodes 1-14).

There are different types of dramas for different people. This one is definitely more thoughtful & deeper than a typical high school / college drama. But some people do make comments which are very strange — maybe 1-2 minute dramas are having an effect, lol 😆

I don’t even look at platforms’ own rankings. They are about as helpful as Viki ratings 🤣🤣🤣

Shen should go for 2FL’s friend who is always hanging out with them too. We all know FL is out of his reach :)

There was/is a massive campaign from haters of the lead actress. Apparently they even bought negative hashtags on social media. sigh 😔

I feel like we are getting closer. In ep. 16 preview he gives her the special watch.

Yeah, despite haters/review-bombing, it’s been solid #2 on iQIYI. Even more hilariously, Overdo has constantly been #1 on iQIYI (other than brief time when GG got released and took over #1).

High school arc is very well done. This could be like WIFTY where more time is spent on high school or establish the friend group and then college & after-college takes less time.

Her parents may have caused her to meet a boyfriend because of the book incident 🤣

I’m very glad the drama is telling these messages. It’s futile to try to always be #1 because the world is full of people and some of them will be better than you at some things. So you can only control wha you can control and do your best.
