Light to the Night is supposed to be a really interesting detective drama. Just started airing on Saturday

Apparently there was a massive attack by antis/haters of FL combined with an attack by unstable supporters of WuWu couple who somehow decided to downrank the drama because they felt WuWu CP didn’t get enough screen time 🙄🙄🙄

I thought that maybe she just sent them downstairs to their quarters but maybe you are right. Don’t know if I’d trust only an autopilot without some crew around, but hey, it’s a drama not a documentary :)

The actor said that the character started liking her in ep. 4. Obviously, he kind of liked her in school too, but he wasn’t pining for her all these years (otherwise, he’d not have refused to see her 100 times). So the actor said it was ep. 4 when real feelings started to develop.

In essence, that’s what is really is — the royals are just figureheads supported by the state.

Both her traditional and modern looks have been nice. Costume team has done a great job with all the characters 🥰

I agree. In the first epaiode or two it seemed like real animosity between the two of them, but now that we’ve seen her brother + sister in law more, I like them, especially sister in law who is clearly the brains of that family (brother got really lucky to have a wife like that). I’m against him becoming a full successor though — it’s clear he’s not all that dedicated. But probably they’ll change the rules and FL will still be in control :)

She’s definitely too good for him, but she does genuinely love & support him (and keeps him in check like you mentioned). I hope they don’t turn them into villains 😊

Everyone has different preferences, so that’s okay :) But you should watch ep. 6 — it’s the best so far 🥰

Queen Mother’s ultimate goal has always been to make sure her son becomes a king and maintains his position as a king. But it’s hard to do because he’s so young and his uncle (ML) has to act as a regent and act as king’s replacement for many events (after all, the king is a kid). In theory, when ML marries, he moves out of the palace per their rules. And Queen Mother’s original plan was to force ML to marry a quiet lady of average nobility, a person who can be controlled by Queen Mother and who could keep ML in check. But instead ML is marrying a commoner (against tradition), but — even more importantly — he’s marrying a super rich & powerful person who can support him in attaining any of his goals… including becoming a king 👑 (which he himself admitted he wants to do). The important thing to remember is that the royal family doesn’t have a lot of wealth (the state pays to support them), they just have prestige & status. So if FL decides to bankroll a grassroots campaign to make ML the king, Queen Mother won’t be able to stop her.
