To those who are not happy about the fact that Han Li and Miss Mo didn't become a couple in her first life, here's…
I suspect Mo is so beloved by donghua watchers because Nangong is absent, so Mo/Wang is a default love interest. Donghua has been going on since 2020, has almost 160 episodes and HL is still not back to re-unite with NGW.
This is the interview with the head scriptwriter / the director & writer of donghua version, Wang Yuren.I…
I’m glad the creator of drama & donghua mentions workplace analogy. It’s something we in the comments also touched upon. Also interesting that he thinks the drama has a “slow-paced narrative rhythm”. I actually found the live action moving pretty quickly by C-drama standards. Maybe in the next season the fights could be a TINY bit shorter which would save them some VFX budget and allow for completion of the story before Yang Yang becomes a great-grandfather. 😁😊
Just a question,What was the point of the Female Lead?? The other girls did more than her and had more screen…
NGW is more important in the context of the entire novel. But the real story between them will happen much later (think - season 3; when HL returns from where he ended up).
Can someone give me some details about teleport array? What was the meaning at the end?
To confirm what another person said, it’s a teleport to a very far away place but it’s still the same world. Think of it like a teleport from China to Caribbean (but much farther).
If there’s a next season, everyone will be new characters except for Han Li and his friend/bodyguard. NGW will not come into play until hypothetical season 3 when HL returns later in the story.
i love how it focused more on his cultivation journey, and in the end we didn’t see Qu Hun in the new world..…
As others said, both of them teleported together. Donghua starts at Ep. 64 for this (based on what other commenters said; I will probably watch from beginning).
Before moving on to another drama, I just want to say something about Yang Yang. I know he’s gotten a lot of…
For what it’s worth, I really enjoyed Fireworks of Ny Heart and specifically Yang Yang and Wang Chu Ran. And, unlike toxic Cnetizens who started a witch-hunt against YY & WCR, the character I disliked was FL’s brother. The perfect FOMH edit would have much fewer scenes with brother and with mother 😁🤣
I have to laugh. I meant the Stargate reference as a joke several episodes back. The writers really need to have…
Writer (singular) since this is based on a novel written by one person. But it’s not exactly like Stargate. He teleported to a far away location in the same world (think — from China to Caribbean).
Have you watched Love Scout? It’s really great K-drama from earlier this year. This one started off well but…
It’s really, really good. First episode (or two) sets everything up but after that the show hits its stride. ML is one of the greenest flags ever. And because it’s 12 episodes, things get resolved quickly without dragging on. There are some funny moments too, for example at some point a very famous song from a very popular 2013 drama gets played 🤣🤣🤣
The novel Salted Fish is widely considered Fu Hua's best, most viral work. The other one was quite well liked…
Got it, thank you! P.S. Angelababy’s Love O2O movie was better than the Love O2O drama (it was fine but got kind of boring in places; and this is coming from a fan of slow-burn dramas).

MDL needs an anti-heart for people with NO list! 😁I don’t have a NO list but if I did, I’d base it on screenwriters. Even very good actors can’t save a poor script full of annoying tropes. Speaking of scripts, how much of the plot/script do Chinese actors know before accepting a job offer? So many dramas go downhill in the middle (boring/draggy/misunderstandings) or have disappointing endings (or, at least, not very well done conclusion). Oftentimes feels like writers for C- and K-dramas try hard early on and then just pick random cliches/tropes out of a hat 😳🥺
I was thinking the same until I saw the Uncle with his 4 wives and remembered this is a historical costume drama…
Those scenes were funny in the drama but, if you think about it, she didn’t even know ML’s position/status. She was not very smart — should’ve made sure he was a good match 😁🤣
