Thanks for the inside scoop! Somehow, it never occurred to me that weight would matter for stunts (as long as a person was in a good physical condition), but I can totally see how it’d matter for wire work.

Has those facts been confirmed by any reputable source? Both the fact that they shot a lot more scenes together and the fact she is angry about them being cut? So, so many news out there are just completely made up. Being an actor/actress/idol isn’t good for your mental health 😢

Do you mean the ones in BTS section? In the app only one of them is marked TVOD and that one is just a preview of what’s to come.

What’s even more hilarious is there was a modern drama which offered no hints at the couple (unmarried) having bedroom scenes but eventually there was a pregnancy scare, lol (apparently the source book was a lot more explicit but censors don’t want us to have nice things 🚫). When I watched that drama for the second time, I specifically paid attention for any hints but nothing.

The hero here starts off by wanting to provide for his family by joining a sect and kind of accidentally stumbles onto a path of cultivation through a series of events. The novel is called “A Record of Mortal's Journey to Immortality”, so that’s his end goal I suppose. But mostly he’s just trying to improve himself so that he can continue to be a cultivator. Think of it this way: you lucked into joining a good company at a position for which you are not qualified; and everyone KNOWS you are not qualified for the position. So now you are motivated to do well and to earn respect. Sure, eventually you want to become a top-level manager but for now you are trying to not get fired.

For YY 7 kg is okay. But I found it unusual when ELLE claimed a female actress (who played MO’s daughter) lost 7 kg. That’s a lot for a petite person. Maybe Google mistranslated something.

I was talking about all genres, not just here. Many modern or historical/costume dramas are like that.

There are definitely some impressive battles coming up for you in 10-13 (and previews & teasers also look promising). If you read recent comments, there articles that say a lot of this was shot on location with huge crews and gives budget numbers overall and for VFX.

Is this one of those articles which states some fact (people criticize, public dislikes, etc.) but then points to only a few random posts on social media? Let’s be honest, anything can be made into a story — even if the leads were on promotional tour together and doing live stream 32 hours a day, the news could claim “JC gives YY cold stare” or some other nonsense like that. 🙄

Your idea is actually better. Because then the characters can drop some lines like “the rest of our story will be covered in the following book(s) / chapter(s) / etc.” So a flash-forward while still staying in the same universe 😎

Maybe they will just have ML & FL wake up next to each other in a modern world with donghua playing on a TV 📺 and a baby crib next to their bed. Bam — happy ending! (Okay, okay, I know the creators won’t do it 😁)

But don’t you find it super strange how in so many dramas all it takes is one, ahem, “attempt” and boom 💥— there’s a baby on a way. They are really not doing much to help improve birth rates in Asian countries 😒

Even funnier, in the novel he’s described as “plain looking” but that doesn’t stop everyone from pining for him (except for FL who is already making plans for his tombstone 🪦, lol)
