This drama is letting him show greater range, I think. “Our Secret” and “Hidden Love” were very good dramas, but they were more FL-focused.

Her best-case scenario would have been to be like the arranged married couple in Are You the One (being vague to avoid spoilers). But don’t think it’ll happen here.

FL would be very mad if ML killed her “blood brother”, so ML just let things develop and came in at the end to make sure to capture the bad guy.

They are more cordial to each other now. We have to assume by the end they will be together and, probably, be raising those three kids too.

Haha… I haven’t watched ADWAD yet 😳 But a lead character being less favored by his/her parent(s) is pretty common in these dramas, I think. Especially, when the lead’s mom/dad passed away and current spouse is advocating for a younger sibling.

People have different preferences but this drama (through 12 episodes) actually moves at a very fast pace for a C-drama.

Much will depend on whether the remaining episodes can continue to deliver on good action and pretty solid plot. I’m starting cautiously optimistic because we all know how C-drama writers love to mess things up (for example, nonsensical misunderstanding/separation in the middle to make more episodes).

We don’t know for sure. There have been strong hints that FL found out about the plot between The Princess and The Masked Man (and maybe even identity of The Masked Man). And she likely refused to go along with the plan which is why The Prince was forced to shoot her in the beginning.

Very logical thinking. Not that it matters a lot , but one would think The Prince could overthrow his brother if all that person does is hedonistic pursuits. But not losing any sleep over this for now — there are a lot of episodes left so things are boing to get even more interesting & complicated.

At least, Emperor isn’t trying to make the young brother as his successor.
