(This drama is based on the novel) The leads haven’t really interacted much. Per readers, even the novel (and animated version) are more focused on character’s journey than romance. But as another commenter said, FL is his official wife.

Maybe the novel goes into that. But — if you notice — the daughters were about the same age, so conceivably he only need 1-2 years to have 3 of them given multiple wives.

People got married very young back then, so he could have probably started to have kids at 15-16.

It was 4 wives (out of 5 total; one was missing - they skipped a number so that drew my attention) + 3 daughters (2 vain daughters + 1 nice one who saved him).

Those are independent events. And it’s not like ML killed FOR the token — it was just a bonus after dispatching a bad guy who was trying to do bad things. Plus, the other disciple didn’t know the circumstances, so he was just doing that out of jealousy.

Yup 😳 P-drama I’m sure arching started mid-June but will end last week of September. Needless to say, I’ve never appreciated recaps more than now 😁

About the same as K-dramas: 10-14 in Japan, 10-16 in Philippines. Some Thai dramas are shorter but I’ve never followed them in realtime so not sure about release schedule.

Most typical Korean dramas are released twice a week on back-to-back nights. I was talking about dramas from Japan and Philippines (US and Canadian shows are also once per week but that’s a different continent 😊).

I love how C-drama fans react when there’s only one episode per day:) Some other countries do one episode per WEEK which means dramas take forever 😔

His sect’s outfits are nice but he technically didn’t “decide”. That token was specific to only that one sect.

One thing I appreciate about this drama is author’s willingness to un-alive a character. Like that little guy who dropped the token or this guy. We don’t need to waste page/screen time on justifying anything :)
