MDL needs an anti-heart for people with NO list! 😁I don’t have a NO list but if I did, I’d base it on screenwriters. Even very good actors can’t save a poor script full of annoying tropes. Speaking of scripts, how much of the plot/script do Chinese actors know before accepting a job offer? So many dramas go downhill in the middle (boring/draggy/misunderstandings) or have disappointing endings (or, at least, not very well done conclusion). Oftentimes feels like writers for C- and K-dramas try hard early on and then just pick random cliches/tropes out of a hat 😳🥺

Those scenes were funny in the drama but, if you think about it, she didn’t even know ML’s position/status. She was not very smart — should’ve made sure he was a good match 😁🤣

The leads are so adorable when they do “honey” and “dear” to each other. Reminds me of “Are You the One” couple except it was real in that drama ☺️

In the novel, did she really want to take her own life? In the drama it was the bad guys trying to get her to stumble into the water so she would drown. Only ML thought she was trying to drown herself.

I really think he cares most about his daughter because he wants her as his disciple/companion. The mother of the child is “nice to have” but he probably doesn’t care all that much.

You just have to bear with it for the last few episodes. Or maybe just watch ep. 11 (and epilogue) + ep. 12 to find out what happens.

Have you watched Love Scout? It’s really great K-drama from earlier this year. This one started off well but got too predictable and too trope-y towards the end (screenwriters need to do better).
