Not really. Butler Fei is alive in RMP and never died. But he died here before the talent selection for yiqi Alliance., while he was still alive, and even interacted with Yuechu there before and after the selection. Both stories began 20 years after LIP, but there most be some time jump now and then, because at some point, Yuechu was in mid twenties in the series, while FuGue is supposed to be older than him.

Yuechu s story is happening almost the same time as FuGui s. In this part, they are surly in the arc where Yuechu will enroll like a new talent in yiqi alliance, and broast that he want to be the new chief. And idea Wangquang HongYe will not be against With. So Ximen guy must be pisses about this.
But I am surprised they included him. After Fei Yéyé s death, I thought they changed a lot of things from RMP. My guy Fei yeye is still alive there

He also told her she had a lot of potential, and was waiting for her to surprise even him in the future. And my girl has been doing just that in her arc, growing into a bigger person.
