I think it's about emotions, expectations. Like if you are enjoying very much one aspect in the drama even if the rest is "garbage", if the emotions click right and you had a great moment, you would feel like this series was great. There are many dramas with plate and fade storylines that amassed praising only because of the acting, the romance, and because some people could have their favorite actors there. Which is why you would see the repetitive trope in a lot of drama, turning them into manufacturing products. Now in the same way, even if the story is doing okay, the fact that there are characters who annoy the viewers, or there are decisions taken that don't meet their expectations, you will see people throwing the whole story under the bus, just because they are not enjoying the emotions right now. That s the beauty and headache of watching ongoing series lol . The mood in the comment section will change according of how the writers handled the plots in the series. And if it has a satisfying ending,.some of the people complaining won't even come here to take back what they said and just consider the final emotions the drama gave, which was positive. About expectations , fans could feel deceived and disappointed the story is not going where they thought it would had been best for it to go. This can b an obstacle in enjoying the route the writers took, specially when this route is not well mastered. And let's not even talk about novel adaptations lol. I noticed viewers tend to be more harsh on stories which has been adapted, since the novel or original sources already gave the right emotions. Normally, they are waiting for something that can top that..
I think you folks are coping the writers totally messed up this second half.
The writers could have go a different route than the annoying villains that they refuse to kill and are still causing Havock, I give you that. And there is a lot of informations they could have process in a better flow. But no, the story is not annoying. not great, but not bad either.

Actually no. I am okay with watching something with no romance, or light in Romance, I am not someone who have fav actors, I have not seen or read the original sources, so I can't compare, and so far, the story is not as terrible as people wants to say it is. It's not perfect, yes, but it still make sense so far. I understand the frustration people have about several points, but this is not enough to just say it's horrible or bad . I have seen dramas with weaker stories that people loved for this year, just because romance was giving the right amount of fluff.
About QC s character, it is the typical bullied become the bully. People may get mad at him, and hate what it…
There is too much allies on the villain side as you said. And since hatred is their fuel, it will be difficult to beat them. So yes, if there is more help in the heroes s side, I will feel more at peace. Specially when you know at any moment, any of them could die

Exactly! She went to too long length for him to just abandon him like that. She would rather believe he was manipulated by the black fox than to accept he submitted willingly to the dark forces. But honestly, I am not sure if he can really repent at this point. He killed too much people to get power and to manipulate her. He even tried to hurt her physically just to slow down her cultivation by giving her the wrong technics. But whatever the story decides to do with QC, I honestly wish it ends in tomorrow eps. The man is stealing too much screentime lol.

Exactly. She seems to be the kind of person to sort into killing only as the last option. And seriously, I quite like that she wants to purify QC with the seed of love. That would mean that the Dongfang blood could have an ally, and both her and FG will be a great match against the black fox.
just watched episode 27…glad Rumu’s romance is going well…and our Yunfei is indeed a fox through and through.…
About QC s character, it is the typical bullied become the bully. People may get mad at him, and hate what it is doing, but it is something unfortunately that is closer to reality than we think. One who is handling power must be balanced in mind and soul, and if the power grow stronger, they need to mentally grow with it too, or they will eventually get consumed by it. Now take a fragile, fractured soul who has been through hell, and hand them a lot of powers. The chances for them to become the worst version of themselves, or to mirror the attitude of their abuser is high. If I allow myself to see if I can understand QC ( because the man is insufferable), he has always thought Harmony between humans and demons were impossible ( he said it to QT when she transformed him into human and wanted to return to FG to cure his poison). And let's not forget that he is a lesser demon, so his whole life has been a living hell, and the only ray of light he had was when QT was protecting him. It's normal after the black fox possessed him that he hated FG even more, and want QT for him only, as the only ray of joy he knows are from her. His dark power turned any admiration or hidden love he had for her into provocative obsession.
About QT, this is exactly what I think of her, even if letting go and killing her brother would be the best decision to make. People are saying she lost braincells, but this is the same person she took the deadly mission to spy on the soldier for, the person for whom she almost lost her life in the mission where FG retrieved the magic core that would turn her into a human. This is the person she choose to save and sacrifice her life for, when madam Yin asked her to either kiln FG or let her brother die. She once explained to FG that both of them has been surviving together for long, and the bond between them is more deep than when viewers may acknowledge it. So it's make sense that even when she knows he is turning evil, she wants to try to save him first instead of killing him. It's too bad that QC has blackened his heart so much that he can't see, or don't seem to remember how much she values him, and is only obsessing in having her as a partner now.
Someone please remove romance genres from this page. 🙂
There are 3 main couple, and even if the leads are not together officially a yet, we already have a successful conclusion from one couple, and at least a kiss scene with the another. I understand the frustration about the main couple, but romance tag don't need to be removed because of that
Feel the same energy. So far, I honestly think he is out of her league ( or world, if it is makes more sense).
Yes, the Male lead had been protected all his life, and now is forced to grow up to protect his family s legacy ( his story is very tragic, by the way). And it quite makes sense he fell first , as Chu yu is beautiful, and remarkable in a lot of point. So I guess that maybe when ChuYu will fell for Hime they will meet halfway? Or maybe there will be some time jump when ML is much more experienced in life ? I can't tell the direction the drama is going, but hopefully, they devlope the couple s relationship well. Meanwhile, I am very invested in FL s brother romance lol.
I have a feeling that they will make Qing Tong sacrifice herself to save everyone. It's such a shame that Cheng…
It's too early to say the script did not do them justice though, and I think they have another drama going together. But you are right, there is a high chance she will sacrifice herself, and I think it's by refining the black tree seed and stop it's regeneration for good
