It will be indeed interesting to revisit your stance after she find the cure. In my opinion, they handled this matter well. And he is not that honest With her either. He will learn to be, but only because he knows this version of her. So both are quite balanced. One is a liar who have been hiding things all her life, the other is so traumatized he have trust issues and don't believe anyone.

She is not here to stay. Her plan is to seduce her way into his spirit well and stealer the gold millet dream. Eben if somehow their visions amines, she will not be able to stay with him, as she wants to get the cure and get back home to restore her crown prince position. Even if she can tell her part of the truth, she has no need to tell him who she really is. It's not like that will make him hand her the cure, because if she tells him who she is, he will immediately knows why she is here and that she won't stay with him. Meanwhile, her persona is supposed to not be interested in the GMD, that s one of the reasons he keeps her besides him and trust her.

That's quite of ironic, since I am not really a Chen Yin fan ( so far, all of the drama starring him I started to watch, I dropped them, so I am not really used to see his acting). And this one is the very first started and still want to know more ( asides from MLBC, but I am planning to watch it later, when Season 2 will be in the corner). I am also watching whispers of fate too, and even if it's engaging it's in own ways, that does not mean it's because it has something superior going on with it.

Exactly! Being weak does not mean you have to be saved every damn time without at least putting a fight. I love how she cleverly resolved the ML s problem by dealing with the dancing demon king in her own way. Lol I was prepared for a long fight with him almost loosing just by the way the two elders were describing how difficult the fight would be for him. The girl saved the day, and he was able to get there in time to save his father .

That's indeed what it is about. Being emotionless and having to zero weakness is what he think would work so his son would success where he failed

And that s something young Hong Ye would have totally done lol

He was certainly not raised to hate. I think his father forced him to be a lone soldier so he would have less to worry about when facing his enemies. He may be sparing him the pain of loosing his companions when the real fight will come. But little does he knows, his son his already bonding with people, and so far the way he is bonding with FL and his cousin, hurting by loosing them is already something he will not be able to escape.

The first two installments had powerful and strong women with Hong Hong being the great chief of her clan, and Huai Zu being this amazing and unparalleled swordmaster. I am loving this fragile side of this FL here in contrast of the 2 other women. She is still in a weak stage, but her real strength lays in her wittiness and sensibility. Lol she was able to convince 2 human warriors to not kill her at sight just by being pathetic and cute. I am sure she will evolve in the drama, but so far, I am enjoying the way she is portrayed a lot.
