Fugui’s father is honestly a monster — how could he be so cruel to his own son? And what happened to the man…
FuGui is indeed a very interesting character. I would have loved to know how open and fulfilled his youth would have been if he was raised by both parents and in less dire times
I have not watched today s episodes yet, but I have to tell that I highly appreciate how they are developing the leads s relationship so far. They are on this stage where he think she is someone precious to him, protecting her when she can't, believing in her when she is helping, and supporting her in the ways she wants to follow. Meanwhile, she absolutely adores everything about him, and love being his attendant. I loved when she was crying about leaving him, her main concern was knowing he would be left alone, leaving a life he doesn't really want, and it the most miserable ways. I love that they know they have affection for each other, but the idea of actually being together is brushing everyone s mind but theirs. I am enjoying this area in its fullest.
What episode are you on? because they have come clear with their feelings he’s even said he loves her. I don’t…
Well, going to him was to seduce her way to his mind well to steal the GMD. That's what all the plan was about. Making him fall for her, snatch the thing away, and get back home. Romance happened only because this is the way the story wanted it to go. And never once, even after falling for him, did she loose her goal on sight. Anyway, I think there is enough back an forth on this. I think the story explains itself clearly enough. You can not agree with her ways, but it is the way they wanted the story to go, and I think judging the personality of the characters, they did a good job with the angst.

Nope, she would have preferred dying, or minimizing the gravity of the situation than ask him to save her life. And for someone who have spend all her life winning, meeting her first defeat only because she was poisoned, this align to her personality
Third master Aoloi gave black fox a gift? She (black fox) wants fugui the way she wanted huai zhu?Tell me how does…
She talked more about her being her weakness than them falling in love. She saw him spared her in their first encounter when he should have been a ruthless and cruel soldier. Than when she pleased for her brother, the mistress though she was cute and pathetic enough to get his sympathy. So I think she saw her doing well and learning she was transformed into a human by him, mistress understood they were in love. It's not about a great plan, but laying down pans here and there hoping it will get in the direction desired.

I am sure everyone is misinterpreting the prophecy. The words left behind is wounded by emotions, driven by love. Which could be a total contrast of what the visuals of the prophecy showed. There was something a little bit similar in LIP, when there was a glimpse vision of the future things to past, and while it still happened, some things changed

Now, this is indeed something who would have worked if it was another person. But they already told us that she is a proud person who would rather do things by herself than show her pitiful side ( he actually told him that when he asked her why Ming Xian did not come to get the antidote himself, or something like that). And at this point ( after the heart bond array) she knew perfectly that he loved him enough to go against his oath and give it to her. But she continues with her lies because she was too afraid to know if he could love the real version of her , give her the GMD and let her go to her country, which was the plan in the first place. And while I get miscommunication tropes can be frustrating in dramas, I was completely okay the way they handled this one or how the characters made their choices. She was never here to stay and JBZ was just a part of her plan to get cured. Even when she fell hard for him, she still choose to stick to her plan because bigger things were at risk than broking the heart of the person she loved the most. Does it sucks? Yes. But is it feasible realistically? Also yes.

Actually, no. There was zero guaranty he could have gave her GMD if she told him in early eps. The guy have massive trust issues. Even when the formed the imprint, he kept a seal on the GMD, and when he removed the seal, it was to test her, as to see if she would try to take it. And given the time he tools him to give it to her, telling him early on would have not guaranty anything. Could she arrange things another way? Yes. Should have she told him.the truth? Yes, but not to get the GMD, since he would not have gave it to her only for that. Both are prideful characters and equally flawed. But their righteousness is what makes their story together works.
i didn't watch ep 7 yet , but im happily surprised how cute LYT is !
Still, she is right. FL is a spy demon who poisoned her senior. And she can't understand why she, as a powerful sword worman, can't be that close to him, while a demon can. I actually like her and hope she can be friend with FL.
