I just love how people get excited over kiss scenes in cdramas and kdramas. It's not the same for western shows.
Lol that reminds me one time I was watching a Western show about Chinatown. There was this girl eying our male lead from EP 1, and I was like, they do look good together. And fast forward in EP 3, after some encounters at screen, they were already kissing. I said yea okay, I am fine, and before finishing my thoughts, they were already on bed. They did not even leave me the time to bond with the couple lol. I blame Asians dramas
I've some doubts/confusions .I hope someone can clear them, please. So First of all Who taught MU MIE , YANG YITAN'S…
I think they purposely left the Mu Mue mystery like this, because when Yitan s fiancée asked who could have taught him clairvoyance, Yitan brushed it over. The série pointed itsfet there was a bug here. So maybe we will get more answers if we encounter Mu Mie in the last série . There is actually a clip showing Quinlan being saved by someone and later her talking to young YueChu. They had surely cut it from the main série, making me wonder how much good explanation they have left out as they did with this one. According to my comprehension, both black fox are not the same. Shi ji may be older, but jia lan is her boss in RMP. Also, they are quite different. She was born deviant from her other peers, and can control both human and demons. She became the entity she is now because of the events happening 500/400 years ago in beast Kingdom, and for me it's not clear if she started feeding on hatred before or after those events. She was the one who awoke Shi ji again in RMP. But the link between the black grief tree and Tushan s tree is still obscure for me. Like how they could be linked, and how can she take power from Tushan s tree. Are there a lot of fox trees out there somehow linked to each other? Are there only those 2? They still need to explain ( I am rewatching RMP forore insight, but so far, I am not seeing how the trees are tied). For the hong hong s matter, it could be because they are wary of humans, and they may have not taken the threat seriously enough to let hong hong deal directly with it. After Luo, YueChu had been the only human in contact with members of Tushan, and they purposely stayed out of the human-Spirit war for some centuries. In RMP, she said the tree began to deteriorate because of the events 20 years later. So I guess she is referring to LIP when HongYe and Huaizu came to offer their help. So if she is more diligent into protecting herself the tree now, it may be because the situation is now more urgent than it was 20 years ago. Besides, they already said that only the flower could deal with the black fox. So I think letting Huaizu deal with it with Yaya s supervision was not a bad option. Besides, it went quite well. Well the real reason could be that they could not bring Hong hong s actress in this series, but I think they handled the excuse quite well.
I think it's because after her first husband , she seems to see the ML as her best option. And if she wants to…
Pride, as you said, could be a good explanation. And let's not forget how they like to portray most of c dramas nobles like those dormant psychopaths who think of people as disposable pawns to achieve their goals. Of course she will have a shelter with the wei, but her egocentric self thinks that she bears the empress fate, meaning she has to be in the highest position. At this point, it's not even because she likes ML or she despise FL. They are both usable pawns, and marrying one while disposing the other is the best option for her.
I'm glad they showed Qiao Man's younger sister's abilities, but at the same time I also feel sorry for her eldest…
I think it's because after her first husband , she seems to see the ML as her best option. And if she wants to be lady wei, Man Man has to be taken out of the picture
I am in love with them but I will be honest I will never trust him to not break her heart😭 I am afraid in each…
And thats what I am loving with how their are portraying their particular relationship. Both are walking ong eggs shell. She ll have to support him while protecting her family at the same time, and he ll have to consider his family when dealing with hers. It's like they know one day they will have to clash because of this feud, and are praying for those days to delay their coming. Loving each other will be not enough to fight the tides coming.
ML is definitely attracted by FL’s beauty at first look. but their love will be progressive as they are enemies…
Lol when the ML saw her, his face was : " wow, she is beautiful and definitely my type. Anyways.." then proceeded to finish his previous speech at loud.
people are complaining that it wasn’t as dark as some other drama and here I’m just glad it isn’t just fighting…
I actually loved how they handled it, knowing it's not our first hero fight bullies back kind of série. And unpopular opinion, i enjoyed it more than both seasons of Weak hero class.
I actually loved how they handled the aphrodisiac trope. Normally, I find those scenes unnecessary, or borderline cringe. But there, not only they gave you a solid reason for it to happen, but they actually let you see the impacts of the aftermath. Usually, when the ML stops himself with meditation or with a bucket of water, that's it. No words afterwards with them assessing the situation with each other, and they just continue their live like they did not almost have an unconsenting sex scene, even if it's obvious they want each other. I loved the fact they made it a solid stone to continue the story, and the relationship between the leads, loved that it hinted this made them realize they were interested in each other physically, love the culpability the ML felt knowing he almost assaulted his own wife, loved the fact she was scared by the events, and loved the fact that the culprit were for once called out AND punished. Bonus scene was the ice bath one, but the cameraman needs to be fired ASAP for not taking shots of the right angles, or making them too short when they get one ( so unprofessional of them lol). And I was surprised the ML resisted perfectly the cousin, and did not bother too much to do the same with the FL. Normally, they often do lol.
I won't say RMP was boring. More like confusing and not quite the thing people were waiting for. I gave it a first…
Everyone have their taste. Could be the case for you, but I was okay in the first watch, and definitively enjoying the second time watching LIP, as the story made more sense.
I am going to say something that will trigger people. But still I just had to say it. Like why are people watching…
Personally, I ll prefer watch or read a story that keeps me invested even if it has a sad ending over one who is not so interesting but have an happy ending. Well, preferred taste is one who have both interesting story and happy handing, but overall for me, the whole journey counts more than the ending.
Normally, the sequel has never been better than the first one. But, Love in Pavilion is def far beyond more interesting…
I won't say RMP was boring. More like confusing and not quite the thing people were waiting for. I gave it a first watch when it aired and dropped because there was too much informations given or not given. Then while waiting for LIP, I gave it a second chance. I can tell that things got more clearer, and others made some senses. lIP is definitely better, but RMP is not a complete fail either.
Ep 26 ending when HongYe helps Huai Zhu to gather back the flower and she teared. Why? What does that scene means?…
When she said everyone was safe, HongYe told her it still lacked one person. Maybe she never thought about gathering the flower back for herself, and would have let the petals scattered, but was still satisfied because everyone else was fine. She is a self sacrificing person, who always thinks about everyone but her. I guess that knowing that someone have her back and will think about her well beings while she is tending over other s moved her.
