Title The Prisoner of Beauty Spoiler
ML is definitely attracted by FL’s beauty at first look. but their love will be progressive as they are enemies…
It's definitely a reminder. And our girl is like: "what wrong with him? I am not even trying anything" 😂😂😂

Lol when the ML saw her, his face was : " wow, she is beautiful and definitely my type. Anyways.." then proceeded to finish his previous speech at loud.

Title Study Group
people are complaining that it wasn’t as dark as some other drama and here I’m just glad it isn’t just fighting…
I actually loved how they handled it, knowing it's not our first hero fight bullies back kind of série. And unpopular opinion, i enjoyed it more than both seasons of Weak hero class.

he is a very good actor, he killed his role in Joy of Life and Princess Rebel. I wish I could have a weibo account…
He often plays a quirky or extra character. I like him for that lol

Title The Prisoner of Beauty Spoiler
I actually loved how they handled the aphrodisiac trope. Normally, I find those scenes unnecessary, or borderline cringe. But there, not only they gave you a solid reason for it to happen, but they actually let you see the impacts of the aftermath. Usually, when the ML stops himself with meditation or with a bucket of water, that's it. No words afterwards with them assessing the situation with each other, and they just continue their live like they did not almost have an unconsenting sex scene, even if it's obvious they want each other. I loved the fact they made it a solid stone to continue the story, and the relationship between the leads, loved that it hinted this made them realize they were interested in each other physically, love the culpability the ML felt knowing he almost assaulted his own wife, loved the fact she was scared by the events, and loved the fact that the culprit were for once called out AND punished.
Bonus scene was the ice bath one, but the cameraman needs to be fired ASAP for not taking shots of the right angles, or making them too short when they get one ( so unprofessional of them lol). And I was surprised the ML resisted perfectly the cousin, and did not bother too much to do the same with the FL. Normally, they often do lol.

I won't say RMP was boring. More like confusing and not quite the thing people were waiting for. I gave it a first…
Everyone have their taste. Could be the case for you, but I was okay in the first watch, and definitively enjoying the second time watching LIP, as the story made more sense.

I am going to say something that will trigger people. But still I just had to say it. Like why are people watching…
Personally, I ll prefer watch or read a story that keeps me invested even if it has a sad ending over one who is not so interesting but have an happy ending. Well, preferred taste is one who have both interesting story and happy handing, but overall for me, the whole journey counts more than the ending.

Fox Spirit Matchmaker is funny because it's about 12 arc stories and all are scattered both within the manga/anime…
I' ll say watch RMP after LIP. It will make more sense to you, as you will already be invested in the universe

Normally, the sequel has never been better than the first one. But, Love in Pavilion is def far beyond more interesting…
I won't say RMP was boring. More like confusing and not quite the thing people were waiting for. I gave it a first watch when it aired and dropped because there was too much informations given or not given. Then while waiting for LIP, I gave it a second chance. I can tell that things got more clearer, and others made some senses. lIP is definitely better, but RMP is not a complete fail either.

Ep 26 ending when HongYe helps Huai Zhu to gather back the flower and she teared. Why? What does that scene means?…
When she said everyone was safe, HongYe told her it still lacked one person. Maybe she never thought about gathering the flower back for herself, and would have let the petals scattered, but was still satisfied because everyone else was fine. She is a self sacrificing person, who always thinks about everyone but her. I guess that knowing that someone have her back and will think about her well beings while she is tending over other s moved her.

So while waiting for the new episodes here I went back to rewatch Red Moon Pact. I dropped it somewhere after the beast Kingdom ark because it was still ongoing back them, and I was not invested enough in the serie to wait for daily episodes. I saw the reviews afterwards and people saying how bad it was, but I said I would finish it anyway when given the opportunity. Waiting for new episodes of Love in Pavilion was it.
I am still early and in the current kingdom beast arc, but I can tell that while it is not as interesting as LIP, so far, it's not as trashy as described ( well I have around 20 + episodes left, so they have plenty of time to shit on it).
But the main remark I made is how it was now easier to understand the storylines. They begin to say that something that happened 20 years ago affected thushan s sacred tree, along with HongHong s power. Now I can see what s coming. You understand better how Jin Renfeng is linked to the black fox, why he hates HongYe, how he came to power ,and why he needed YueChu s blood ( this even is somehow related to the leech demon who is actually with him in LIP, and the doctor from RMP even mentioned her demise to HongHong). The Yiqi alliance part was all over the place when they were mentioning it in my first watch, but the installment now is more understandable.
Watching them both at the same time is kind of weird but interesting ,because while one is helping you understand the sequel better, the other is foreshadowing or giving you straight up spoilers of some events on the prequel. And while waiting for things to go South in RMP, I am actually quite enjoying it so far.

Title Love in Pavilion Spoiler
Viewers who interpret Hong Ye as being a martyr/simp during the 20 year future arc are watching a different show…
When he bargained with thirsty-evil Huaizu, he offered himself as someone who can help her achieve her goals. He let her have her ways with him, never fighting back. I agree, he is brutal to himself, reckless, arrogant and confident enough to think he can put himself out from any dire situation he purposely threw himself through in the first place place. When he purified FL, the second thing he asked after he searching for her was " did I loose?". He is all about playing big games for big results.

Title Love in Pavilion Spoiler
The romance for Mu Mie and CuiYu MingLan is so shallow. I always thought whether it’s red eye or blue eye, it’s…
They are not the same. Red eyes is part of the golden dawn the villain cultivated by using the demon s core ( or whatever it was). It took a conscious for some reason on the leech demon body and helped her to escape and avenge herself from her abusers. Actually, while I was myself waiting for Mu Mie to fall for blue eyes, it quite make sense he likes red eyes more. He spent more time with her, as we saw she once kept blue eyes from possessing the body so she could have more time with the man, and blue eyes was always shy, not wanting to talk too much to Mu Mie, while red eyes was straight forward and teasing the man. Both women are different entities, with blue eyes being the real owner of the body, and red eye being a temporary host.
This said, they could have handled their story better. Red eye sealing blue eye to get the man felt a little bit too evil for me, and I wanted to punch her in the face when she sacrificed her ass just to be the last piece completing the golden dawn, messing up with all the efforts the protagonists made to finally beat the celestial demon. I was like, yeah you dumb girl.

And Hong Ye is not a simp. He’s just someone who sees the bigger picture. If he doesn’t play the game with…
Simp is actually and overused word. The ML is doing just fine for me. My only complain with him is that even though he have a greater plan he try to achieve with all the quests he choose to lead, he seems to not have any back up plans in case things go South, but prefer to play with anything that fall under his hand. It may be because of the writers, or if it is really how they choose to portray him, it would mean that he is kind of reckless, and counting too much on his good fortune.

When I saw him and the other members of the cast, I said people were going to stone him to death lol. And let's…
Not the least attractive, but among them in a way that if it was any other drama focusing on how pretty the ML were, he would not be on the top of the list. But I agree that he is aesthetically different from the cute features. Does not mean he is not handsome though. I like him the way he is.
