I think during that time frame child abuse wasn't reported as often as it is today. A'Tang says she doesn't have any relatives to defend her, and the school administrators were more likely to believe adults instead of children. Those things don't make it right, of course, but I think it's probably realistic for the time period being portrayed as 1991.

Different people like different things. I'm enjoying SOM, even the technical parts, but if it's not for you, find something you like better. That's why they make so many dramas, right?

I loved Mobius. I think you have to take it for what it is. It's not really meant to be a police procedural IMO. There are some weird elements to it, but I found it fascinating.

Is it ever mentioned about where Geu Rin and Gi Jeong's parents are? As far as I can tell they're living on their own.

Gu Man often puts science and technology info in her stories, like the rocket science stuff she wrote into You Are My Glory. I think those things are interesting but I can see how it'd be easy to choose to skip those details.

I was going to say the same thing. He is acting is very nuanced in his role in Always Home, and it's quite believable .

I was wondering about that, too. I was wondering if this issue was exaggerated for the sake of the drama.

Has this been shelved because of some concerns about the behaviors of some of the supporting cast? I can't think of any other logical reason to explain why it hasn't been released.

On MDL she's listed as being British even though she's based out of South Korea, so that probably made it possible for her to have the part.

I suppose it depends on what you consider romance to be. She doesn't really act like she's into him, at least not as much as he is into her. He's getting ready to go on a life threatening mission and she doesn't even kiss him goodbye. (Yes I know the actress has a no kissing thing.) IMO there needed to be a little bit more affection between our two main leads. But that's just how I saw it.

To be honest, I probably won't watch much of this because I'm not fond of the genre, but the opening theme song rocks! Liu Yuning did a great job with it!

She died but he cryogenically froze her body in liquid nitrogen while he found a 'cure' for her. However, he was becoming desperate because the cryogenics system was coming to the end of its usefulness. I imagine her brother asked to have her body returned so they could have a funeral for her before he went to prison.

I think it's a drama that takes patience and concentration to fully understand, and IMO a lot of viewers aren't willing to put that kind of effort into a series. If people are looking for fluffy romance, etc, they're going to be disappointed.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Bai Jing Ting killed it! Can't imagine anyone else as the main lead...

Comparing Mobius to Reset is like comparing the proverbial apples and oranges. Both series are about time loops, and both have Bai Jingting as the ML. IMO, however, Mobius is a much more complex drama with many more moving parts. I enjoyed Reset, and I'm enjoying this one. It's not like we have to choose one or the other....

I think this is going to be my 'guilty pleasure' drama. The plot is silly but the cast really works hard to sell it.

The first episode gave me "You are My Hero" vibes, right down to the plush green frog! Lots of excitement and a little bit of humor to take the edge off. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.
