Agreed! I don't normally enjoy costume dramas but this one looks intriguing.

I kept waiting for it to be on VIKI since they have season but I finally decided to watch it on Youtube. So far the English subtitles are okay.

Wasn't this series completed a while ago? I wonder why the network finally decided to release it. I hope it works out well for all involved.

This looks a little soapy but hopefully it'll be watchable. From the trailer it looks like WRC has a meaty part to play. I guess if it's on Mango they might put it on YouTube?

As far as I can tell, BJT is sweet and thoughtful towards all of his female co-stars. There were some questions about his relationship with Sandra Ma when they filmed 'You Are My Hero' together, but it turned out that they are just friends. I think he wants to make sure his co-stars know he appreciates them, but I don't think it's anything romantic.

I tried to watch part of it, but the dialogue is so 'choppy' for lack of a better word. The rhythm of their speech is not smooth like it should be. It almost sounds like when they dubbed it, they put together lines of dialogue that hadn't been spoken together to begin with. WRC looks so good in his costumes in this drama but I don't think I'll be able to finish it.

That being said, I don't think her acting is bad at all in this role.

I think perhaps her agent should've reconsidered this role for her. I have no problem with her 'no kissing' rule, but I'm surprised she took on a role where kissing would normally be expected.

I understand that the FL lead has a 'no kissing' rule. What I don't understand is why she would take a leading role in a series called "Be Passionately in Love" if she has a 'no kissing' rule. Perhaps she didn't know what 'passionately' means, but that seems to be an odd choice on her part.

Thanks! She does look like a young Zhao Lu Si, so it makes sense they would have her in the show. Having taught middle school for several years does make me aware of how widely children can vary as they mature, so that would also explain things.

Just began it because I've been watching First Frost, but I'm confused. How old is the FL supposed to be in the first few episodes? The young girl said she was 14 but she looked to be 10. Then the FL is supposed to be 17 but she acts like she's 14? Not trying to be icky...I just don't understand. ML is supposed to be about 5 years older than her, right? Clarification would be appreciated....

I was a teacher for many years, and I almost never left my students unattended for more than a minute or two. We would supervise the halls and restrooms on breaks. My students never had a lot of free time, either. I don't know how these students have so much free time.

I've never heard of this one. Did Youku decide not to promote it for some reason? It sounds kind of interesting....

Is there some place to watch all the episodes with English subtitles? I don't think all of the episodes are on youtube. I'm having a hard time finding it, which surprises me....

Agreed, I hope he finds a good fit somewhere else so we can see him in better roles and in better productions.

Honestly I think this might've been a good role for him if the production quality was better. It's unfortunate that the people in post production did such shoddy work.

I'm surprised that he doesn't seem to be in many released dramas recently. I wonder if that was his choice, or if they've been stockpiled by IQIYI or the other companies that produced him. But you are correct...his agent is not doing a good job. He has excellent stage presence for a young man, in addition to acting talent and good looks. I really cannot imagine why he's not getting more roles unless his agency is incompetent. I suppose maybe he's interested in doing other things besides acting, but still... it seems that his abilities are being wasted, and that's a shame.
