IMO she acts like a teenager instead of an adult woman. She's supposed to be in her 20s and she acts 16.
I guess she must have her reasons for the 'no kissing' thing but she doesn't respond as a mature woman to main leads in other ways, IMO. To me there is no warmth when she responds to the ML in this series. She hugs him but there is no emotional intimacy in her expression.

let me also say that tagging this drama as "slight romance" because of the absence of kiss scenes is weird,…
There's more romance for the second couple (and for the pheasants) than with the first couple...

LHC's character seems like always too naive for me, there's something wrong abt the way she acts but i cannot…

I agree. It was like watching a full length movie every night.

As an older person I really appreciate the way the relationship between Jung Ro Sa and Ju Jong Su was written. It's nice to see an older couple enjoying each other's company like they do in this series. It may not have been intended to be a romantic coupling, but it's obvious that the characters love each other.

Super strange that they didn't dub Clara Lee's lines in Chinese but in English. Ifl she's speaking Korean instead…
And it's like they couldn't decide what accent to use when she speaks English. I also find it strange that our protagonists understand her English enough to respond to what she's saying, but they answer her in Mandarin.

So Luo Ren is leaving on a dangerous mission to confront one of the bad guys, Mu Dai might never see him again...and poor Ren doesn't even get a goodbye kiss out of the deal. A passionate kiss would've made that scene a lot more impactful IMO, but what do I know? (Yeah, I know she doesn't do kissing scenes and that most Chinese couples don't kiss in public, but still...)

Ok. I get it . It’s listed with ā€œslightā€ romance…But damn , such a waste of an extra fine šŸ˜ leading…
I'm sure she must have her reasons, but it's really hard for me to believe she'd pass up the chance to kiss such a handsome leading man.

well and I know this may be a news for those who were born after 2000 but this is a very Indiana Jones vibe production.…
I've been thinking the exact same thing. I think that's why the CGI doesn't bother me as much as it does others. To me it's like watching a Saturday morning program or maybe even an old Star Trek episode. The special effects in those shows weren't great but the story was interesting. In some ways I think the CGI actually reflects an old vibe on purpose.

Jo jung suk as Ik jun will always be my favourite character
He actually reminds me of my 40 year old son...always busy, always looking for something new to do, always interested in other people, and always trying to be a good father.

She is beautiful. I noticed they did her hair and eyes differerently in the scene with the red shoes.
They really did! And having kind of wavy hair myself, I was a little offended at the wig they had her wearing... but it all worked out in the end, I guess.

A Little Thing Called First Love is really a cute series but the folks in charge went over board in making the girl look bad. It was supposed to be that she was plain but he loved her anyway, in comparison to the beautiful girl that he wasn't interested in. I don't know why they went so far to make that point.

I enjoyed this series quite a bit, but I'm greedy! I want to know how Xi Chi's business enterprises work out...I want to know how Huan'er does in graduate school...and I want to know more about the relationship between Du Man and Song Cong. I like the way they did the ending, and I know we don't always get answers in real life, but still...

I'd settle for one of those dreaded time jumps if it'd answer my questions. Otherwise, it almost seems like an open ending IMO. Maybe I'll try to find an English version of the novel on line.

Viki says it’s a Taiwan drama, so why it’s Chinese here ?šŸ¤”
It actually makes sense for it to be a Taiwanese drama if it's BL because that's a big NO-NO in China for dramas.

lee sang yi is sooo good here! them making him FL's senior when there's a 7 yrs gap between shin mina and him…
Watching it now and having a serious case of second lead syndrome. He's so handsome and his character is so sweet! Can't help but feel a little bit sorry for him....

The scene in episode 25 where Xi Chi and Huan'er are trying to kiss each other in the sports office made me laugh out loud. It felt like the actors' laughter was genuine, too! It seems they had a lot of fun working together.

The difference between Xi Chi/Huan'er's relationship and Song Cong/QiQi's relationship also stood out to me. Xi Chi and Huan'er know each other well enough to communicate with a raised eyebrow or a slight change in expression. I don't think Song Cong and QiQi would ever reach that level of understanding, no matter how long they tried to stay together.

Did they mention how many years passed between s1 and s2 in the story? maybe I missed something...
I wondered about that, too, since it seems Shen Yi is more into the psychology of the suspects in this season. Perhaps he took some university classes?

Sad that no other channel has S2 can’t watch it 😢
I'm currently watching it on YouTube with English subtitles. From what I can tell all of the episodes are available there.
