lee sang yi is sooo good here! them making him FL's senior when there's a 7 yrs gap between shin mina and him…
Watching it now and having a serious case of second lead syndrome. He's so handsome and his character is so sweet! Can't help but feel a little bit sorry for him....
The scene in episode 25 where Xi Chi and Huan'er are trying to kiss each other in the sports office made me laugh out loud. It felt like the actors' laughter was genuine, too! It seems they had a lot of fun working together.
The difference between Xi Chi/Huan'er's relationship and Song Cong/QiQi's relationship also stood out to me. Xi Chi and Huan'er know each other well enough to communicate with a raised eyebrow or a slight change in expression. I don't think Song Cong and QiQi would ever reach that level of understanding, no matter how long they tried to stay together.
Did they mention how many years passed between s1 and s2 in the story? maybe I missed something...
I wondered about that, too, since it seems Shen Yi is more into the psychology of the suspects in this season. Perhaps he took some university classes?
Yes. Episode 17.Obviously they already fall for each other, but keep it undisclosed.
I saw that he put a large envelope in his desk drawer so I assumed that was an acceptance letter for Yeching but I'm watching with subtitles so I was sure. Thanks for clearing up that little detail!
Yes. Episode 17.Obviously they already fall for each other, but keep it undisclosed.
So did he really miss the score necessary to go to Yeching, or was he just telling everyone that so they wouldn't question his choice to go to the other college?
I don't understand people who say that song cong moves on too quick. I feel like a large demographic of people…
Agreed. IMO, with the way the characters are written it's been obvious from the start that they wouldn't work long term. He is too determined to achieve his own goals. Of course, as a young man, he's going to enjoy having a beautiful girl's interest in him, but that doesn't mean they have to spend the rest of their lives together. It's all a part of growing up.
Xi Chi and HuanEr were characters that were written to 'click' from the start, but even they had to find that out for themselves.
Those plot lines are what makes a series like this enjoyable. We get to see our characters change and grow as they experience life.
I did not even recognize him as the female leads childhood friend in First Frost. They did him dirty in that drama…
I think he looks handsome in both dramas! Giving him a more 'mature' hairstyle in FF changed his looks a lot IMO. And I agree about his character in the First Frost. It seems the only reason he was around later in the series was to tell the ML where to find the FL.
I'm impressed with the acting range of Zhai Xiao Wen. I saw him playing a responsible adult in The First Frost and he's here playing a slightly goofy teenager in this drama. I'm not sure I would've realized it was the same actor if I hadn't checked his credits on MDL. (All of the actors are good, but I haven't seen them in other things yet. I'll be looking for their other shows as well.)
This looks a little soapy but hopefully it'll be watchable. From the trailer it looks like WRC has a meaty part to play. I guess if it's on Mango they might put it on YouTube?
Guys I've heard some rumours tht BJT and ZRN is dating. BJT has sent ZRN some gift/foods on her shooting set/working…
As far as I can tell, BJT is sweet and thoughtful towards all of his female co-stars. There were some questions about his relationship with Sandra Ma when they filmed 'You Are My Hero' together, but it turned out that they are just friends. I think he wants to make sure his co-stars know he appreciates them, but I don't think it's anything romantic.
I tried to watch part of it, but the dialogue is so 'choppy' for lack of a better word. The rhythm of their speech is not smooth like it should be. It almost sounds like when they dubbed it, they put together lines of dialogue that hadn't been spoken together to begin with. WRC looks so good in his costumes in this drama but I don't think I'll be able to finish it.
The fault is not on her part, but on the part of who offered her the performance - for her, this is work. She…
I think perhaps her agent should've reconsidered this role for her. I have no problem with her 'no kissing' rule, but I'm surprised she took on a role where kissing would normally be expected.
I understand that the FL lead has a 'no kissing' rule. What I don't understand is why she would take a leading role in a series called "Be Passionately in Love" if she has a 'no kissing' rule. Perhaps she didn't know what 'passionately' means, but that seems to be an odd choice on her part.
The girl who plays the 14 year old Sang Zhi was indeed 11 when she filmed this. They needed the actress for her…
Thanks! She does look like a young Zhao Lu Si, so it makes sense they would have her in the show. Having taught middle school for several years does make me aware of how widely children can vary as they mature, so that would also explain things.
