about Junseo killing Ahjin, he was killing both Ahjin AND himself so you can say he's a coward who couldn't bare…
that AND he probably still carried a certain amount of guilt since he's been gaslighted by Ahjin his entire life that it was his fault she turned that way (bad stepbrother didn't save her from drowning in the tub). So he could never seek actual medical help for her (and himself!) Then he couldn't bare to admit the full truth to the viewers which totally fits his character. I think at some point he gaslighted her as well because I feel he blamed her for her mental state more than her abusive parents, so she would feel the need to depend on him
In the webtoon, Ahjin gets pregnant with Junseo's child intentionally so that she could marry her husband. But…
thank you so so much! that's quite a different ending but also twisted. I just have one question, is her fiancé in the webtoon also a psychopath like in the drama?
Now people are really overreacting. I get that y'all didn't like the ending but that doesn't mean you trash the…
The ending was gut wrenching but it totally made sense to me...she was built to rise from the ashes and codependency was always within the trio, they just took it to another level. The only thing that pissed me off was Do Hyuk's open ending but then again, he DID tell Jun Seo he was too powerful for anything to harm him seriously. I'm glad Le Na got away and the coffee shop boss is alive and well. And this drama is definitely something different
Dude decided to unalive them both without even trying to posthumously bring down Moon Do Hyuk who killed THEIR FRIEND (even warning him about the recordings was dumb af) like please Ah Jin totally deserved to survive this shiii 😭
taejoong managed to do a 1v2 against yohan and that chinese girl.both of those ppl were highly skilled in fighting…
yeah this is common for action series. In reality none of them would survive that prison or someone like Yohan. And we also wouldn't have three seasons of Taxi driver because all of them would've died by S1 finale. The screenwriter loves plot armour and incredible healing abilities 😂
Some questions you have right now might be answered in S2. We see that they we planning, but we only saw the 2…
that's what I'm hoping for since it's been ranked #1 both domestically and globally. Otherwise we're left with quite an open ending lol. The possibilities are infinite. I just wish they'd utilised EunBi's character more.. she didn't feel like a main role to me until the very end😭
I believe S2 is already planned or even written. That last scene left many questions unanswered. I also don't believe the Nanny would've let TaeJoong live such a peaceful life after killing her baby boy lol (she must have SOME minions left after all, also all the powerful "friends"). I would've also liked if they had shown us who TaeJoong took the hard drive to, considering all those powerful people's connections within the police. Although not necessary, I wish we got some scenes of our team actually planning the course of revenge! Would be the nice addition. Uo to the last episode, still one of the best kdramas recently! especially the first six episodes!
So episode twelve should've been two hours long or split into two episodes. The last 20 minutes were so rushed I rewatched three times to make sure I hadn't skipped some scenes 😂
sometimes I don't understand MDL ratings Good dramas always receive a low rating
I noticed this pattern with dramas that came out more recently (mid 2024 - 2025) I believe this drama would receive at least 8.5 had it aired a few years ago, since it's VERY high quality drama and main actors are very popular. These days many thrillers get a lot of 1 star ratings during the first airing week.. I wonder what's happening
One thing that makes this drama outstanding to me (among others) is the fact that I cannot tell if we, as audience, are also being manipulated by Baek Ah Jin all the time.
Also one of the rare dramas where the person with a mental disorder doesn't look like a caricature. Cast and crew deserve all the awards.
