I do agree that Joong has very few facial expression now that you mention it. However, I dont think Dunks acting is worse than any other bl actors and the criticism he gets is unfair. Most bl actors are cast for their looks. Yet Dunk constantly gets picked on by the very discerning MDL bl audience who are all experts in this field.
I will always adore Dunk for his performance as Style in THK.
i find that I much prefer the older Korean dramas. Sometimes i find the newer dramas are too polished and clinically produced (manufactured with the right tropes to please the target market) I know its not this drama is not that old but it has that feel and charm. If its father and adopted daughter (or mother adopted step son ) 1. the imbalance of power between the two 2. the relationship changing from parent /child to becoming lovers 3. age gap issue (again power dynamics) The law would get involved in the above situations.

(I just looked it up) So if you were dating someone and your parents got married then it would not fall under incest laws. (according to my understanding of UK law your marriage would be valid.). It was sad because they had a wonderful friendship / relationship in the beginning. Peoples started gossiping and this ruined the relationship and led to extreme actions by Junior (to walk away) and Senior (desperate to hold on to Junior). I felt sorry for both parties (Im not defending the action of the rapist at all).
The way that the rape was resolved was strange - it was a families coming to an agreement rather then going to police and legal system.
