A high score is not given simply because its your "best" project. Sometimes what is your best is just not good enough.

A drama earns a high score by offering an engaging story, a good script, holding viewers interest and entertaining them at the very least.
This does not achieve the above.

A lot of people here are disappointed in the show. Look at the comments being posted.

I really dont know how they make money from these series - what the revenue breakdown is and the various sources of revenue. It would be so interesting to see a general analysis of a typical bl drama series - for an approximate breakdown of both the costs and the revenues

I dont know what targets they have to meet to earn forecast revenue.
It would be interesting to see viewership numbers and to see what targets needed to be met so they can breakeven or make a profit.

I thought that this drama had high view numbers, high engagement and ratings (which are not justified in my opinion - and others). I believed that they are doing okay and they would have budgeted appropriated when they spent a fortune - ie looked at both costs and revenue. (so they can breakeven or profit)

I wonder if someone could shed light.......

Its a good ending. I like that its left to interpretation.

In my interpretation, it was real for both of them at that time, but reality/maturity kicked in for Jae Ha, and they went their separate ways.
Would it have have been sustainable if they stayed together - I dont know once the initial sparks of romance settle. Was it circumstantial - you can say that about most relationships.
Acting was good.

It had nice music - or am i so used to the thai bls and their sounds

Its absurd if you think about it.

The thing is in real life people (we all are) are flawed and dont behave well a lot of the time - we behave emotionally, immaturely, dishonestly. Bad behaviour is almost normalised and accepted in the real world. (Can give so many examples). So why cant we accept flawed imperfect characters in dramas and try to understand them. Why are people freaking out here.

I'm the opposite.
If its FICTION I accept and embrace flawed, messy, toxic, evil, as long as the character is interesting and entertaining and even educational. In real life, i have or try to have higher standards in acceptable behaviour (for myself and others).

This was good. I love toxic, trauma, dark messy f*ked up dramas. BUT I most certainly chose white with this one .
I may revisit noir when i am braver.

I had actually read your review for Eccentric Romance (i had placed that green tick) and it amused me enough to bookmark Eccentric Romance in viki.

Yes, it posed a dilemma for me. On one hand it kind of persuaded me to avoid, but made me curios enough to want to watch it for amusement value so I could really appreciate the review better.

I agree with you re this series. I enjoyed it.

I watched this a while ago. It deserves a higher rating for an engaging story.
Its a story about fear of intimacy and getting hurt. That fear leads to behaviour that is toxic. The characters are flawed, damaged from previous experiences and this explains their behaviour. I dont like the way that Sher hits out to express himself but that does not mean the show deserves to be panned because you dont like or approve of the character. I watch shows to learn and understand different characters. The damaged ones are more interesting. Imagine how boring it would be if all the cast were perfect. Then there would not be much of a story to tell.

Ignore the reviews. I would recommend this show. Its engaging. Its raw. Its worth watching.

The reviews were created by hysterical individuals. Its ridiculous to downvote a series for telling a story of flawed characters trying to come to terms with intimacy and trust

Learned behaviour. Unable to express himself, anger issues, and maybe that is how he was treated as a child.
A few hypothesis
I didnt like it either (hate violence) but I love the show for portraying damaged characters.

Its for Unforgotten night (part of Yoe Nim Love Syndrome universe - where I become familiar with Lee Long Shi). The review persuaded me to watch it.
