I honestly wish rapists could get tattooed “rapist” on their faces. Write that big in the local language and send them to jail for life.

I watch them but I have my limits with the cringe and the excessive emasculation of the men in these dramas. I was perfectly fine with how supportive the husband was until those lines.

Wouldn’t those sound creepy in real life? I tend to avoid the dramas that are too unrealistic and I was hoping that this one wouldn’t be that since it discusses a serious topic.

The victim truly cannot move on, getting justice is good but even therapy cannot help completely. The worse are the random flashbacks. You think you are over it but out of nowhere you get that feeling on your skin. This can happen even decades after the crime. You feel the disgusting feelings you felt on the parts that were touched, this will come back to your mind at random moments. Anything can trigger a memory, a smell, a noise etc… trust that i personally know, unfortunately and fortunately cuz now i can relate to victims as part of my job.

The men and women who commit rape should be put to jail for life, that’s one of the laws that should be universal. For the ones who hurt children, death penalty is only acceptable.

I agree with you, women who lie like that should receive a more severe punishment.

Who would normally say that his/her spouse is the reason they breathe? Wouldn’t you find odd that someone would describe a relationship as the man seeing his wife as his religion?

You need to watch and let me know when you do 😣. I personally would be creeped out by this type of “love”.

Past halfway it turns generic, very predictable that gives you a “deja vu” feeling.

Yeah, I almost felt sorry for the mom but then realized she had a choice on how to treat her daughter after she came back from the village. She knew how to give love since she gave it to her son but chose to be mean to her daughter. After realizing that, i snapped back to reality and continued disliking her.

Don’t feel bad for the character. The most horrific criminals will have sad stories about their lives as well. We all, to some extent, have traumas but we don’t all turn out into bad people.

Qin Nan sees SiBei as his religion.” Qin Nan saying that she’s his “hope”, that her living in this world makes it worth it etc… all this while he was still a teenager. Then he showed up at that blind date and then married her. Now he’s willing to sacrifice his life for her.

Idk, sounds like an unhealthy obsession. Maybe if I was still a naive teenager I would be swooning over this but I’m not anymore so maybe that’s why all this behavior sounds suffocating and unhealthy to me? Idk

I hope it’s the case here. I’ve seen a few similar dramas that were so good be ruined on the last episode. That last episode dropped the rating .

FL acting was unbearable to me, so stiff. I think the story itself had potential but the cast didn’t do it justice with the acting.
