The ending was weak but they gave us the less traumatic ending we could get here so I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

My issue is FL, at the beginning she was very smart and it was a pleasure to watch her. Then she became selfish to then turn frustrating with her behavior at the end. She turned into a miss “know it all” with all the virtues. I give this drama 5.5, I won’t bother marking it as “complete” because I don’t want to remember it whenever I go through my list of dramas I’ve watched.

She made me want to slap her through my screen a few times… self centered, mean… she gets better towards the end but I still disliked her 😅

It was one thing after the other starting around ep 16.

She drugging him.
She’s being referred as his “religion”.
Him showing up at the blind date.
Him watching her from afar.
Giving her his dad’s money.
He can only breathe if she’s radiant…

The writer squeezed all the cringe and disfunctionality into those 2-3 episodes. At least spread it out a little 😤!

I meet a likeminded person! 🤝… I said that a few days ago as well, episode 16 when it was revealed, it made him look like a toxic person. It ruined what I thought was a loving relationship.

I also would like to see a similar drama but with an average or below average looking female lead and single get justice. Show us how truly hard it can be so at least people have realistic expectations. It’s very good that this type of crime is being discussed and that at the end she got justice. It’s encouraging women to speak up. I’m afraid that for real life victims who will see this drama, it might not turn out that way…

I had the same experience as you and agree that the ending could have been handled better. Overall it’s a very good show and the actors played well. I started feeling awkward around episode 15 until the end but still a drama that I would recommend.

Thank you! I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone else mentioning this. It was very uncomfortable… I just assumed that since it’s MDL comment section where usually crimes are tolerated when the person committing it is either good looking or if the people have developed strong positive feelings towards the character committing the crime. I’ve seen people on this website defending stalking, physical assault and the likes with “but he/she likes him” “he/she has trauma”… just because they were in favor of the person doing it. She did exactly what that perv did to her.

The husband’s child. Months went by between the assault and the final judgement and she was not pregnant. In that case it could only be her and her husband’s child.

I honestly wish rapists could get tattooed “rapist” on their faces. Write that big in the local language and send them to jail for life.

I watch them but I have my limits with the cringe and the excessive emasculation of the men in these dramas. I was perfectly fine with how supportive the husband was until those lines.

Wouldn’t those sound creepy in real life? I tend to avoid the dramas that are too unrealistic and I was hoping that this one wouldn’t be that since it discusses a serious topic.

The victim truly cannot move on, getting justice is good but even therapy cannot help completely. The worse are the random flashbacks. You think you are over it but out of nowhere you get that feeling on your skin. This can happen even decades after the crime. You feel the disgusting feelings you felt on the parts that were touched, this will come back to your mind at random moments. Anything can trigger a memory, a smell, a noise etc… trust that i personally know, unfortunately and fortunately cuz now i can relate to victims as part of my job.

The men and women who commit rape should be put to jail for life, that’s one of the laws that should be universal. For the ones who hurt children, death penalty is only acceptable.

Past halfway it turns generic, very predictable that gives you a “deja vu” feeling.
