ok why director yin oml . what if the police officer that was adopted is the brother of the lady in the grand…
It can’t be? Her parents are dead, she said she was the only one left and she promised her mother she’d find her brother. Police officer said his biological family is still alive and they want him back smh at the entitled parents.
That mom at the grocery store was not panicking enough for me 😤. I remember a true story where you could see a mom at a Chinese mall break entire displays in a fancy jewelry store to bring attention to the fact that her child was missing.
This is just my thought and opinion from the countless k-dramas I've watched and observations-there seems to be…
It sounds so suffocating 😭. You are probably right with what you mentioned, it’s so hard to comprehend. I wish they could see how destructive this mentality is, so many talented people end themselves early because of the pressure. Thank you for answering my questions 😊.
I want to understand, i probably won’t understand, the culture in Korea that thinks it’s ok to bully a celebrity (or anyone) to the point of pushing suicide. Yes, it can happen anywhere but you don’t see celebrities ending themselves because of online people as much as in Korea.
What is it? Is the youth not happy there? Is bullying encouraged in the society? It’s as if these bullies are so perfect themselves.
exactly like what was that ending??? Not even a kiss??? One kiss???
Thinking about those last mins of the drama make me want to be violent. I was ready to heal, I wanted my nerves to calm down. Right! Give us at least one good kiss!
No conversation, just that dumb hug. I can’t even 😤.
That dumb ending scene. After all the tension (good and bad) we went through during the drama, the writers decided to serve us that ending that tasted like stale fried potatoes 😤. I needed to see them happy.
“Don’t take my money, I beg of you”When those parents were begging for their children, did you feel bad??
They chose to be evil people as they grew up. There are countless of people who have been through abuse and trauma and they are not all out here kidnapping and doing evil.
There are also people who grew up in nice environments but decided to become criminals. At one point we have to accept personal responsibility. I do agree that the environment and trauma can affect a person BUT at the end of the day, the person will chose which way to go. An example, there are women who had horrible mothers but they turn out to be great mothers themselves because they know the pain and refuse to let their children suffer the same fate. Blaming others is lazy.
Regardless of the gender of who does it, human trafficking (especially children) is evil but it’s more vile when women are the ones helping with trafficking. I hope there’s a more painful special level of hell for that type of women.
I agree it was a great show. My advice (if it’s not too late), don’t check season 2. Stay on the high of season 1, this is coming from someone who truly enjoyed season one and was looking forward to the second one.
The casting director needs to be acknowledged. All the actors are amazing from the children to the elderly . Special appreciation on the way they cast the criminals, it’s on point, they all have punchable faces.
Oh! I remember you from an exchange under a drama, we seemed to agree so I’ll trust your comment here and watch.…
My friend, I’m here to report 🫡. Since we last chatted, I went on a mission to find another Japanese drama similar to this one we liked…. I have suffered, you hear me? SUFFERED! I binged watched some of the recommendations under this drama and some under the dramas that were recommended and none came close to being as good as the one we liked. I sat there through the cringe, I’ve suffered enough for the both of us. I’m back to feeling awkward about Jdramas. The only time you might see me again watching a Japanese production is if there’s a season 2 of the one we liked. That is all, carry on 😅.
The problem here is the fl (how they wrote her) or was it the actress’ lack of acting skills? It’s probably both. She pissed me off from start to finish. The drama is not something I will revisit nor recommend to anyone else. It was not horrible but at the same time not worth your time.
