I took a few days off from watching to come back and find our little FaFa calling him “daddy” and showing him off at the orphanage…. 😭😭🤧😮💨. I’m going to lie down a bit to gather myself after this.
Oh! I remember you from an exchange under a drama, we seemed to agree so I’ll trust your comment here and watch.…
I will still go and read as you mentioned, I agree that it felt like I should have known a bit more but I pushed that aside lol.
Right?! What is it with Japanese dramas that makes us have a hard time? At first I thought it was the way the language sounded to me but I didn’t have that issue with this drama… it’s odd.
I’ll be on the lookout for a second season and if you know of any Japanese ones that are similar to this type of story, please share. Thank you!

Idk about you all but I know for sure that I’ll be more alert and aware when walking in the streets. I’m thinking that I’ve unknowingly walked by a trafficked child but I was not paying attention. Maybe by paying attention I can notice a child who seems uneasy around their adult figure? Trafficking, neglect or any types of abuse can be noticed a little? Idk, I want to help but feel so useless.
Same. In my head they were all on the floor already. Get out of my way!!! And what do you mean “I paid so much…
All I’m hoping at this point is for the writers to have mercy on our nerves😭. I know happy ending for all is unrealistic but I hope they find a way. I’m grateful for a show that covers the topic realistically to some extent because it raises awareness but seeing how evil humans can be is heartbreaking.
if I'm that police, i already shot the villagers and that couple 😌

I know his job is risky and he doesn’t have “stability” but I need him to adopt that little girl. He’ll be better than where she was and where she ran away from.
I went to watch the first ep and I will drop as it was not engaging. I found myself dozing off on the first ep.

Edit: just finished it and I LOVED it 🥹.
“ In 2022, there were 359,094 reports of missing children entered into the FBI.”
“ The Safe House Project states that an estimated 300,000 American children are victims of commercial sexual exploitation each year.”
Surely at some point someone ran into a child unknowingly. These numbers are horrific.
