Omg this is creepy now 😅, i was thinking about starting this drama. I was reading the comments then saw you.
Ha! This is too crazy, today was the day for us to “meet”. I haven’t gotten into Japanese dramas yet, i tried twice but they didn’t catch my attention. I will definitely let you know my thoughts once I’m done with this scarlet.

I have not! I read that you prefer this version? I’ll start it this evening 😊. Is the ending traumatic? Will I punch the air and yell at my screen? I need to mentally prepare myself.
Yeah, tbh its not a perfect drama, the writing is a mess sometimes. But it made me feel just so many good things,…
Exactly! They didn’t develop the second relationship well. No explanation, nothing.
It made no sense, that encounter in the basement where she was stuffing her face with chicken like a maniac and downing it down with alcohol was supposed to be so endearing that hot young guy felt some sort attraction? Pleeease 🙄!
Aaaanyway… the leads did a great job, you are right, that overshadowed the nonsense a lot.
Hopefully we’ll run into each other again in these kisskh comment section streets, until then, take care 🤗.

I agree, I found myself smiling along with them. Their romance was really cute until the episodes where she was disappearing on him (i understand her thinking but I’m sick of the trope where the girl decides to suffer alone to “protect” the guy.) she wasted so much time they could have spent together.
I took one point out for that frustration unnecessary separation and I took the remaining away because of the second relationship that had no place there. The writer spent way too much time feeding us that second relationship.
So it's so fantastic to see a modern drama outside of the office! Yay! Corporate world sucks, it's what escapism…
I agree with this comment. The romance of the second couple felt out of place and forced. I couldn’t see what made him attracted to her to that level and it happened very fast. I skipped most of their romance, they didn’t match (nothing against the age difference).
This was needed, I was starting to feel discouraged by the disappointing dramas lately. I saw a review of this drama and decided to give it a chance and I’m glad I did. Such a unique storyline, yes some clichés but still good. I give it a 8.5/10. Towards the last episodes, I got tired of her behavior and imo too much time was spent on the second couple. It’s not because of the age difference (it didn’t bother me for any of the couples), it’s just that second couple felt out of place in this drama and the acting was a bit cringe coming from the woman, idk why.
The author is either probably powerless and crying like most authors who's work were adapted without them playing…
I’d be livid if I were the author 😤. Can you imagine? So from what I’m understanding, the production kept the title of the novel to attract the readers but completely disregarded the actual work. I’m upset for the writer and the fans of the novel, I join in solidarity with the outrage.
Do we know if the author of the novel is upset about this drastic change? I’m asking as someone who doesn’t follow the news from actors, writers etc… I just watch dramas.
Thiiis. I was hesitant to point out how this ties back to patriarchy and misogyny because I didn't want it to…
Don’t be hesitant to call out things what they are, especially when it’s bull💩. The women who enjoy seeing that type of abuse have been victims of patriarchy and misogyny at some point in their lives. They have this rage and want to see men suffer so they can feel better about themselves. Unfortunately, they don’t realize that supporting this type of abuse, especially in entertainment, they are feeding the ideologies that abused them to begin with. It’s a vicious cycle. Toxic patriarchy will feed on the weak and now, unfortunately, the LGBTQ is the easiest target. They can’t openly come after women anymore so they look for who else to oppress. It’s sickening to see women indirectly feeding oppression.
Not all men are bad, not all women are bad but we need more good people on both sides to be more vocal and call out bs when we see it. I’m not part of the LGBTQ community but as a HUMAN, I stand with any of the oppressed groups.
In 2025, it’s unacceptable to see this type of garbage being passed as entertainment.
