It started off great for me but I caught myself being distracted and annoyed during the last episodes. The cases are interesting but the rest is a bit below average. I do like that the drama moves fast. Now thinking back, idk if I enjoyed the earlier episodes too much because of the desperation brought by the disappointments lately with dramas or if the earlier episodes were really great.
I hope you like it more than I did š. Remember how long have been looking for a good drama? I was hoping this would be it after the fiasco that was gambit but unfortunatelyā¦
ā Why do writers, directors, and producers keep romanticizing rape?ā imo itās because women for the most part keep encouraging this type of garbage āentertainmentā. Letās be honest, women (like myself) are the biggest percentage of dramas viewers so they write for āusā. We indirectly dictate what we want to see and itās unfortunate because many among āusā are deranged. See how often in dramas, crimes are romanticized as long as the perpetrator has a handsome face and some charms. The female audience for the most part will forgive stalking, raping, kidnapping etc⦠in dramas and will use the ābut itās fictionalā as an excuse.
ā What kind of fetish finds this content worthy of an 8 or 9 rating?ā The same disturbing women who encourage the writers to produce the nonsense.
I didnāt watch the drama, I was tempted but saw another review similar to yours and that was enough to discourage me from watching.
ā The Princess's Gambit suffered from a weak script and poor directing. The actors did the best that they could with what was given to them.ā ššÆšÆ
They walked around the house in socks because itās cultural, even today you will rarely see people from Korea, Japan, China and many Muslim countries walk around the house with outside shoes for hygienic reasons. Iām also assuming that here it was to help preserve the flooring from the set intact.
Itās their grandparents (ml and fl) who decided on the union, the grandkids didnāt choose that and it was for peace. ML grandmother had already forgiven the ābetrayalā.
What is more disturbing is majourity of bl watcher are women and feels like majourity has fetish of seeing a man…
Very true, seeing women (usually late teens to late twenties) accepting of this is disturbing. It doesnāt matter if fictional or not, wrong is wrong and it shouldnāt be accepted. I am happy I saw your review because I truly was becoming interested to check out the drama seeing the hype. I will definitely avoid it.
Itās a thin line, once itās accepted in fiction, it will easily cross to reality. As a sociologist, itās a bit disturbing to me to see what is becoming more accepted in real life and when it comes to entertainment.
I'm certainly seeing this a lot in my country. It's quite alarming how widespread these incidents are and how…
Itās so disturbing and many times itās a female audience who is accepting of that type of behavior (dramas, musicā¦). Put a handsome looking abuser and they will accept it.
You are right to stay away from that genre, Iām also starting to look at other types of genre but I havenāt found something that interests me.
Itās an agenda. They are trying to normalize this degeneracy so that when this type of crime happens in real life, people are desensitized. Iāve noticed how there are other dramas where a guy is clearly a criminal but in the comments youāll see āitās not stalking cuz he wants to help herā, āitās not r@ping cuz he loves herā etc⦠all that because the person acting it is good looking actor.
There are people in real life like that Baidu princess, they canāt help but put themselves in embarrassing situations because of their confidence in their entitlement and or stupidity. I hope ml finds a way to ridicule her in an intelligent and satisfying way.
I want to understand why she stayed that long in the fire trying to help so someone who was destined to die. She…
She obviously said that as soon as the sword is removed, heād die. He was already on the floor with the sword removed so he died. Why continue to put out fire? He didnāt say anything even while falling. Did we not watch the same show? Didnāt she say that on the one you watched?
I want to understand why she stayed that long in the fire trying to help so someone who was destined to die. She said it herself that she couldnāt help the wound (removing the sword would kill him), he didnāt want to talk. Why stay and try to put out the fire on a corpse and endanger her own life?
First I was engaged in this, but at one point it became very tiring to watch. Endless bulling of FL, endless framing…
šThis!! Whoever is wondering if they should watchā¦. Please believe the comment above. I read it before starting the drama but I was stubborn and still decided to watch the drama. I regret not trusting this review. Save yourself some time and watch something else.

This is show is good! This is definitely one to binge.
