when the first trailer came out I thought this drama looked really interesting. I really liked that scene when dilraba looks at us and then looks down in front of the throne room and the door closes. Also that scene when she’s dressed in white and she’s holding a sword and spins around and stabs someone was so cool. I recently browsed the LBTG’s weibo account and thought the new song sounded rlly goooood. I’m gonna read the novel !!

i saw some new photo stills of Quan Yi Lun & Shen Jia yu’a characters. it seems like they’ll have a bad ending…does anyone mind explaining a bit about their characters & their relationship? (I haven’t read the novel yet bc I’m reading something else but I’m sooo curious rn lol) Thankyou!!

Xie Queshan watched Nanyi's expression. If she could read, she would know there was no "life" here, only "death"-no matter what she chose, it would be death. Yet her face showed not the slightest hesitation as she earnestly entered this gamble.

I loved the novel. the plot is right up my alley and the writing was beautiful! I hope we get an official casting announcement soon 🤞 I’m really curious who will be casted to play Zhang Yuehui & Song muchen because I had trouble visualising them lolol. Personally I can substitute TJC and LYX as Xue Queshan & Nanyi. Can’t wait to see this start filming!!
in the novel, he wasn’t rlly annoying. his role wasn’t big. he admired Ming Yi and had feelings for her but was no match for JBZ. he just had unrequited feelings.
in the drama it looks like they made his character bigger. the lady who stabs him in the 3rd trailer didn’t exist in the novel. he says (To Ming Yi) “I won’t let you die” and then that other lady stabs him and says “that means you’ll have to give up the golden millet dream and let her have her way.” seems like he might turn evil and do everything he can to “save her”. hopefully he isn’t too annoying 😭😭🤞i did hear that he will try and get her to marry him so 😬
