I'm not saying it's bad, i said it's typical, and I love typical dramas, i enjoy watching everything if it's watchable I don't mind the repeated stories or the not so crazy plots. But i wouldn't say they are great just bcuz i love them myself, i jst said thatheat index isn't what makes a drama a hit just like blossom last year, the actors weren't that famous but it was top3 biggest hits of the year that it took both leads to awhole dif level of their career that's a hit, basically i told them not to let the numbers define what a good drama is, if they like it they should just enjoy it and don't mind it being a hit or not
omg this was perfect, i did not like elvis and chuxi story that much, but amy and sunnys story was great, that gentle love that feels so real, i loved his family, their conversations, even when it felt sad, it brought me so much peace, watching them gave me the same feeling of watvhing meet yourself, 2 real people, it was not about acting, it was all real that you feel like watching a documentary more than a drama

tbh hit index means absolutely nothing, most hit dramas in china did not hit the highest index such as a dream within a dream it was a banger in china and everybody was talking about it, on douban it got a high rating bcuz of its quality, same goes for speed and love, and the first frost i guess, and both are the hottest dramas internationally this year but they did not get that as well, but lets take feud as example, no hate tho but ppl did not like that much, the only ppl who liked it are the actors fans and there is nothing wrong with that, but it was not that good yet it hit 10000 heat index, so you can guess how things works, it is never about the drama, it is about the actors and the platform itself, and tbh this drama is also not that good, it is not bad either but it is the typical idol romance so ppl are not really going crazy over it esp in china, i personally watch it for fun not bcuz it is great
i am on ep 2 and i am kinda confused, the ml seems to know the fl but when and how?? they met before?? i do not thing they were classmates bcuz he is older, he graduated and worked as a doctor and then changed his profession while she is still in college

yesss it is so good, i rewatch it like 5 times and forced my friend who hates cdrama to watch it and she loved it hahaha the chemistry and tension will make you scream, you will cry tho

they are the best in capturing the sexual tension between the leads and choosing the right colors to match the atmosphere, TFF is a great drama for ppl who enjoy forbidden love stories
