i read tff only and i watched hl as a drama i did not know they were talking about the same person, after i knew i just ignored it bcs i thought the writer wanted the hl sy to be like that, but i guess i was wrong

honestly i watched the whole drama bcs i love the fl, but i was so annoyed with her acting, esp the baby voice and child like behaviors, even the actress played the younger ver did better and how can someone act normal when they are 10 but act like a 5yo kid when they are 17+
+the whole cast was questionable and weird, why would they cast a 10 yo and not a slighlt younger guy for the younger ver of the ml, ppl who think that was normal are not normal

idk if you know this but hl exists bcs the first frost, tff is the most famous novel of the writer and she wrote hl after tff, and still this has nothing to do with hl bcs it is not this is a side story or sum, or you will see a hl characters here, and i am basically saying if you are gonna hate on it bcs your fav is not here.... then just ignore it

no hate but hl is literally like any other romance cdrama. the first frost is more than just a romance, if you like cringy romance you def will not like this.

seeing how much hate this drama got esp bai jing ting and how much love it is getting from fans all over the world just proves that hate will never work with such good people and talented actors

i lovvvvvvve sunny, he is so underrated, he is the type to make you question if that is acting or just him being himself, every character he plays, he makes it look so natural, which i believe is what actors should be like. i am def watching this and he looks like ziqi hahaha they go so well being brother, i always thought they look alike

i think the main dif is that xianxias focus more on immortality and take buddhist and daoist as a background, while xuanhuan is also fantasy but more broader like love game is eastern fantasy, and fangs of fortune.
so this drama is a xianxia bcs the ml is seeking power through daoist cultivation

youku stop playing and drop this, kinda wish it is an tencent drama because they do dramas justice better than others esp modern dramas

is this really good or i just happen to be bored so i liked it, i am liking it so far and it is weird because xianxia is not my thing, i drop them after 2 to 3 episode if they were not good from the start.
