Absolute Truth 2022-The oath of love2023-Love me love my voice & When I fly towards you2024-Amidst a Snowstorm…
This is true. I’ve been part of both fandoms, and Cdrama fans literally make group plans to boost ratings on this irrelevant app😭which I honestly find funny. Of course, Kdrama fans are also happy when ratings are high but they’re not obsessed enough to actively work for it. I think kdrama audiences are far more content-driven
IMO most people are not critical enough in kdrama and it hurts the genre. Them seeing push back will improve the…
I mean if this were a cdrama, the rating would probably be much higher, even if it were padded with a lot of mother team filler scenes and Jihyeok attending endless business meetings.
I can’t believe this drama is down to a 7.9 now. The last time I checked, it was around 8.6. Even for me, the first half was a solid 10/10 but the second half dropped to a 5/10.
But I think Kdrama audiences and even I am tend to be overly critical when it comes to kdrama bcz I see Cdrama viewers watching 40 episode shows with 10–20 filler episodes and still praising them to the skies😭
Okay I’m not Korean but some people are getting way too comfortable bashing Koreans. It’s just a drama. What do you mean by “Koreans for you”? The sister not wanting the FL to attend the wedding was part of the script. If you start making assumptions about an entire nation based on one scene, I’m sorry but that’s just xenophobic.
Overall a nice drama but does anyone else feel that they kind of ruined Ye Hai Tang’s character with all the unexplained parts? If Shen Cheng was truly her biological son, then her actions were quite unfair to him. Imagine being a ten year old child and your mother leaves you and divorces your father just to stay by her ex’s grave. People overlook it because she’s the main character but if the same thing had been done by the leads’ parents, the outrage would’ve been massive. She also treated her husband poorly. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it emotional cheating since she believed her ex was dead but her moving on and building an entirely new family still didn’t make much sense. As she had already bought the place beside Xun’s grave, it’s clear she was never truly over him.
I kept waiting for Shen Cheng to turn out to be Xun’s friend’s son or maybe the teacher’s son. But when it became clear that all of them were fine with their own families, I thought he might be Hai Tang’s boss’s son, an orphan or maybe the classmate’s child who, for some reason, believed she was his mother🤡 But then they showed those graduation photos and other pictures in Ye Hai Tang’s house. It confirmed he really was her son after all
But I have to say, people are worrying about her relationship with the ancestor for no reason. It’s not a Japanese drama lol. I’m sure there’s some plot twist
It was good but felt repetitive.Like I loved the food and found their reactions hilarious but the same thing kept happening over and over. Naturally, my interest faded over time and I didn’t find those reaction with editing funny anymore. Episode one still remains the best in the drama
you people will call anything misogynistic and soon enough the word itself will just lose all its meaning
So expecting his wife to be a virgin while he’s already knocked someone else up isn’t misogyny to you? I’m genuinely curious, what do you think misogyny is?
Getting mad about her past while hiding a kid? That is hypocrisy, not misogyny.
That hypocrisy stems from misogyny. Don’t act like you don’t know it. In the real world, no one bats an eye when a divorced man remarries no matter how many times. But when a woman does it, she’s immediately labeled a divorcee. It’s exactly the same thing
Even for me, the first half was a solid 10/10 but the second half dropped to a 5/10.
