"The World of Flowers" is currently in full swing of preparation. A photoshoot for the collaborating magazine will be held this month, and a new interview with producer and script supervisor Jia Lu will be released in January. Additionally, January will see the shooting of promotional materials, test shoots, and script readings. Filming will officially begin after the Spring Festival. More information cannot be revealed at this time. (Ju Jingyi will also be very busy in January, with lots of materials to work on!)

But I’m pretty sure this isn’t about Youku. There are plenty of dramas out there that haven’t aired even years after filming. Some were shelved because of BL restrictions and had to go through re-checks by the NRTA, but TEF is different. I’m sure its delay has more to do with Siba. After all, her In Blossom aired so quickly, which shows it had nothing to do with Youku. So in this case, the platform isn’t the issue, it’s likely internal management and company-related factors that are holding things back.
