And I agree with you, VOS doesn’t need heavy promotions, there’s already so much content floating around, millions of reuters are already out which is feels like people have already seen half the drama. The hype is fully built and self-sustaining. Even outside of our leads fandoms, a lot of casual viewers and cdrama watchers are already anticipating it.

Oh it's been a 1 yr😭So hopefully it'll really air in Jan and as what I have said, I don't have so much expectations unless there will be a notified from fans or their team.

Actually, no trailer or minimal promo after filming is common in cdramas and I think VOS is doing just fine. I’ve seen a lot of cdramas that had almost no promo for a whole year after filming wrapped, like Love Between Fairy and Devil and TTEOTM, as far as I know. They dropped a trailer and then went quiet for nearly a year before real promotion started.
So I don’t think the promo issue automatically means something is wrong. In cdramas, promotion usually depends on when the platform finalizes the schedule, not on how well the drama is doing. Once the airing slot is locked, promo can suddenly ramp up very fast. Until then, long gaps and low visibility are normal, esp for big projects like this

I just saw a comment on XHS saying they’re not really expecting VOS to air in Jan. But some fans mentioned that GJM’s dramas usually air pretty fast, so who knows😭

JJY doesn’t even have a management agency anymore, she established her own studio after leaving Siba, FYI. So there’s no “new agency” to question here.
And please stop calling it a “scandal.” This is not a scandal. It’s an issue deliberately fabricated and stirred up by her former company. So far, she hasn’t broken any law, violated any regulation, or done anything illegal. This is purely a case of malicious black marketing. She has already done exactly what she should do: she released an official attorney’s statement and is handling everything through legal channels, not by manipulating public opinion online. That’s very much in line with who she is, JJY has never been the type to cry online, fuel fan wars or use public opinion as a weapon. She lets the law speak for her.
What we’re seeing right now is just noise created by her former company to confuse the public and damage her image. NOTHING MORE. NOTHING LESS.
And to be absolutely clear: the broadcast of VOS will NOT be affected by this, NEVER. This issue has nothing to do with the drama, the platform or the production. JJY is clean, legally protected and standing on solid ground.

Honestly, I don’t believe it’ll air in Jan either. Even cnetz are saying that broadcast date feels way too rushed. They only wrapped up filming about 9 months ago. So yeah, I’m really keeping my expectations low😭
