I’ve read that spoiler too, saying that Lu Wuyi was created from WWY’s heart, but if both of them were just creations of Jiuying, then that theory doesn’t really make sense, it feels kind of impossible. Still, one thing seems pretty clear: Jiuying’s real goal is to destroy the Dragon God’s power through the “sister” connection.

Yeah, I’ve actually seen some spoilers saying that Lu Wuyi falls in love with Ji Ling, but in different forms and dynamics like across different timelines, identities or through some kind of reincarnation. Even though the setting and relationship change, it’s still the same person at the core.

We have seen different reuters where Lu Wuyi and WWY appearing in different dynasty costumes, which makes it feel like the story is jumping across eras or identities. Well, a lot of fans are saying that LWY doesn’t actually have real feelings or the ability to love. The only reason she can experience anything close to love is because of that doll Ji Ling is always holding, it’s the thing that gives her the capacity to feel emotions😭and as for jiuying, she feels more like a remnant consciousness, obsession or spirit tied to LWY’s existence😭I just got read from this xhs comment under that post.

Basically, according to XHS spoilers, both of them were created by evil Jiuying. She was insanely obsessed with Dizhu, like way past normal admiration, so she copied Dizhu’s image, looks, personality, aura, everything and that became Lu Wuyi. So Lu Wuyi wasn’t born naturally or chosen by fate, she was literally created from obsession.
But since someone made purely from illusion isn’t very stable, Jiuying needed a way to make Lu Wuyi feel more “real.” So she also created Wwy and gave her the identity of Lu Wuyi’s sister. That fake sibling bond was basically there to support Lu Wuyi’s existence, giving her emotions, memories and someone who could recognize her as “real.”
So the tragic part is: LWY believes she’s real because someone remembers her, while wwy exists only to make that lie believable. They’re both technically fake, but they can still love, suffer, and make choices..which is very classic xianxia pain😭
