THIS! I WAS BORED ALL THE WAY THROUGH! I'm not even kidding! I was watching it like ....??????? GIVE ME SOMETHING! Some action or something! BUt nope! MORE BORING DRAGGING PLOTLINES OF TALKING THAT NEVER END! ALSO I looked up the novel and based off where they are in the plot, we still have SEVERAL episodes until we see the impregnation. Or I'm sorry, the book actually skips the impregnation altogether and we just see him wake up confused and pregnant. >.> IF I DIDN'T HAVE A FRIEND TO RANT WITH THIS ABOUT, I would be dropping it too! BUt I'm watching just to see how lame it can get tbh!

THIS! Thank you thank you! I felt practically alone in my hatred of these portrayals! I see people throwing them up on Social media & praising the portrayals but I'm just sitting here like ... THIS IS NOT LIKE ANY OMEGAVERSE I HAVE EVER READ! Hell even Pit Babe did better and they weren't true Omegaverse! But they got the rowdiness/angstiness necessary to make it BELIEVABLE!

Yes to them looking like little schoolboys playacting! AND WHAT WAS THAT HEAT?! People have been praising his acting for an omega in heat but he was supposed to look uncontrollably horny, he honestly just looked sick to me, tbh. There was no sense of arousal or anything. Just sicknessss.

And the S Alphas are lame. nothing about them at all screams Alpha!

I don't know anything about the budget for Revenged Love. ABO Desire is the one that supposedly has the same budget as The Next Prince which could be true considering the need for special effects.

I don't know what is going on with everyone else (I am thinking most of this comment section is BL fans and not true Omegaverse fans) but those of us who know Omegaverse realize that this is NOT it lol!

This is not at all how Omegaverse feels period. Watch Pit Babe, that's how Omegaverse feels. This show is getting so much wrong about it and no one is voicing it but me and like two other people in these comments! I even read some chapters of the novel and even the novel had way better descriptions/themes/elements than what is being shown on the screen!

As a lover of Omegaverse, I have been disappointed by it, tbh.
A few of us who like Omegaverse are, despite the really loud people saying this was amazing >.>

I'm not asking for sex but for the tone and vibe of Omegaverse. Pit Babe feels like Omegaverse (even without fully leaning into the genre they captured the vibe of it perfectly). This does not feel like Omegaverse. It isn't just about the sex it's about the fact that the characters are not behaving like omegas and alphas. I actually went and read chapters from the novel just to see if this is the vibe in the book and they cut out all of the tension as well as the sensual stuff!!!! In the novel it explicitly says that Hua and Sheng have done everything aside from going all the way (including getting each other off) by the time Hua tells him that he can't have full intercourse in episode 3. Yet, in the show they have barely kissed by that point. They claimed this would be an uncensored production but it's already being censored everyone is just too blind to see it. I guess ...? Because I have seen people claiming it is a carbon copy of the novel and that's not true, at all. For example the scene where Hua tells the Alpha he can't have sex, he is supposed to have just given him a massage ... also something they cut out. It's little moments like that that make it feel more omegaverse. And the author even described the tension and angst of the alpha having to hold himself back when near to Hua but we don't see any of that struggle on screen. Omegaverse always has high sexual undertones even when there is nothing sexual happening but this doesn't have that, either.

When you read Omegaverse it is always very sensual, highly emotional, you can feel the tension the angst, everything between the characters but I'm not seeing that between any of the characters. It's like the actors are saying their lines while formal and stiff as a board. I really wanted to love this show! I was excited for it and I am not usually this picky when it comes to anything but I was genuinely shocked with how completely flat it feels! I feel like I am watching an ordinary BL with some mild omega alpha tropes thrown in.

THATS WHAT I SAID! THEY ARE PLANNING TO DRAG THIS OUT UNTIL OCTOBER! THEY ARE ACTUALLY INSANE FOR THIS!

For real!!!!! I am shocked that a billionaire heiress only gave her beloved novel a 3 million budget!!! Like ....?????

Someone mentioned that the budget was actually low for China. Apparently the budget was about the same as The Next Prince's budget which was huge for Thailand but really small in general. So for comparison, assuming this person was right that would put the entire budget at around 3.5 million USD. For comparison a US tv show can range 3-15 million PER EPISODE. So the whole series literally has the budget of one US tv show episode. So, put that into perspective. That is a really small budget if she truly wanted it to stand out.

I literally feel like me and you are the only two who saw this because scrolling through these comments everyone else is happy with what they saw and I'm over here like .... HAVE YOU EVER EVEN READ OMEGAVERSE?! OR HECK EVEN WATCHED PITBABE?! WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?! I feel like I am going crazy because not one person aside from you has mentioned the very, very wrongness of any of those episodes! I have heard that the show is following the book exactly, scene for scene basically, so, perhaps the book itself is poorly written if that is the case .... But I have to agree with you about the screenplay! Someone needed to write a better one! Because I feel like these characters are reading off a dinner menu, not building the tension and giving us something to react to!

You captured exactly what I was trying to say! Omegaverse always feel raw and wild, completely untamed and insane! I mean all of the people that sat in the comment section and complained at us about this existing all these months must be feeling pretty embarrassed right about now. Because this is far from 'toxic' 'rapey' 'porn' ect. whatever they were thinking it would be. First off, is it just me or do NONE of the characters even seem to be the least bit sexual at all?! Like, the most controversial part about Omegaverse (and the central key to making it work) is the characters always have high sex drives and are easily turned on, ect. Yet, these characters release pheromones and rather than getting turned on it seems like the characters actually just get weak and sick. Falling to the ground or whatever. That's something else they got wrong. Pheromones don't injure each other ... they fuel sex drives! I feel like they decided to cut all sexual stuff out of the characters natural states which is how we ended up with cardboard stiff actors & really really boring drawn out scenes.

OH GOD I COULD NOT WITH THE LONG SCENES AT THE CLUB! Unnecessary as hell!

And YES! Same with Pit Babe! I hate that they got the vibe right just to get pretty much everything else wrong! Though I blame the author for writing terrible novels not the screewriters in Pit Babe's case.

I am praying to the ABO GODS that they dumped three episodes on us in order to get past the filler episodes (info dump, ect) because why else is this the only time we get 3 episodes at once?! I really feel like they knew these episodes were boring & pointless and wanted them out of the way all at once! They didn't expect everyone to be so happy about them. I think they thought everyone would be annoyed like we are and hoped if they got them out of the way all at once it might do them a favor. At least that's what I feel like because honestly those three episodes it feels like nothing really happened in them. It was a whole lot of talking, only two kissing scenes which to me is wild for Omegaverse! Usually in the novels you have kissing and touching, groping, ect. all throughout from the start to the end! So, I think that too is why this doesn't feel like omegaverse!

All around this show is a hot mess so far! And from the sounds of it so are the novels if they are following them perfectly according to those who read the novels (I did not). But wow what a disappointment that of all the wonderful omegaverse novels out there this may be the only one we ever see adapted. >.>

I will also add in I spent almost all three episodes in complete confusion about what was even going on. So, to top it off they just had to adapt the most confusing omegaverse novels out there for the first ever omegaverse show! They are usually so straightforward and simple to understand! Like Pitbabe was. But this is like ....?

THIS! I FELT THIS ON A REAL LEVEL! I know the other person said it's not about them but their parents, but stillllll, considering this show has made the entire plot ride on this dumb annoying competition, it feels like they're all just casually heading towards the competition like it's no big deal lol! I feel no urgency about it at all, either. I don't even care who wins it's just like eh >.>

RIGHT?! The main couple are pretty boring compared to Ramil and Paytai. I'm only watching for them at this point.

I was confused through most of the three episodes in general and I couldn't have told you anyone's name at all, so, it was definitely not the names that confused people. soivjhiosdviosdvs! I was just confused for two hours lol!
