Beautiful story, beautiful soundtrack, beautiful couple. They are π₯ together! The story may have dragged or got repetitive in the middle and became predictable in the end, but the story overall was great! When the writers can make me utterly hate the 2FL in the beginning but at the end make me root for her happiness that's just good writing. full stop. The body swapping mechanic was literally the only thing I couldn't grasp why it was in there. It made for really funny moments, it (sort of) helped aid the story when needed, but... I'm pretty sure if it didn't exist the story would have been able to succeed just as well. Overall, I'd recommend this drama to anyone - it was so good!
That was years back, I found it a little weird too. But from her perspective, he was not just an idol for her.…
I can get behind this explanation, actually. I didn't consider the childhood aspect. I think other people are confusing "normal" behavior with what's "common" among the more obsessed fans. The ML does not like the crazy idol worshippers, so I didn't want FL to fall into that category, but you make a valid point.
This is literally a short you start watching and don't stop until it's over π It's SO refreshing when two leads are comfortable around eachother and there's no super shy personalities. I loved this one. Plot be damned, the chemistry was π₯π₯
I put my vote in with this having the worst second "couple" in the history of kdramas. The ML, the 2FL, the FLs sister all have mental illnesses. They played MLs off as shy (per the title), tho he clearly has an anxiety disorder. The 2FL is suicidal, obsessive, has no self worth, but that's a secret to literally everyone but the ML who needed to reach out to others to get her serious help but instead just watched her spiral. The FLs sister MUST have had a mental illness (tho never addressed) because who commits suicide over the situation that occured and having an awkward/awful conversation/encounter with the 2FL? That made no sense. Full of weird misunderstandings, the ML never fully explaining himself to the FL which somehow she doesn't implode on any situation where she thinks he's cheating because he's always happy and smiley around his first love. A lot of people in the comments hated the FL but I didn't mind her. She had no idea what was going on so why couldn't she act the way she was? Why cant she get a pass? God how did I not drop this after writing all that... sigh.
Business Proposal is also mid, but since they hired 10/10 looking actors, it worked out.
I'd argue 90% of the audience for Dynamite Kiss stuck around for the chemistry the first two episodes gave only for the writers to give us a convoluted mess of a story with no more Jeju sized chemistry. In BP if you hated it you dropped it like any other drama, no one else felt strung along episode after episode waiting for that moment to come back. π
I donβt know which secret the mlβs father found out, whether it was that she lied to get the job or dating…
Agreed! π― I think it was slowly deteriorating earlier in the series but that epi 12 ending made no sense and now they're just checking makjang and trope boxes at this point with 0 substance.
Consistent misunderstandings irk me to no end, and in all the dramas I've seen, this takes the cake. If you like awkward love triangles and NOTHING but misunderstandings, you'll love this one. π
FL was capable, dilligent and determined in the first episodes but since she got the job she became clumsy and…
I noticed that too. What happened to the capable woman we saw in the first 2 episodes? Even if the job fraud was the main reason for her angst/anxiety/character regression, why on earth didn't she have the guts to reject the SML? weird and poorly written.

I want to take the FL seriously and she's been nothing but professional so far despite her being a fan but this throws me off.
good start! I'm invested π πΆ
