Kim Eun Sook is beyond talented with her screenwriting. A captivating, magical experience where the depths of romance are weaved into this timeless storytelling adventure. This is a fantastic drama and one I'll highly recommend. While the story is a bit confusing from time to time, you really have to watch every bit so you don't miss an important event. I enjoyed the complex storyline that this takes you on.
Regardless of the premise being a little out there, by short drama standards this was pretty much perfection. The romance, chemistry, acting, story, pacing and music were just all done so well I really have nothing I would change. I highly recommend this one!
From Song Yi Meng’s perspective, the picture is very different. In the original story, Nan Heng destroys everything…
I'm grateful for this chain of comments because I'm on epi 24 and my mind is trying to see both sides and justify both the ML and FLs ruthlessness. Everything here makes sense about the FL and now I can finish watching. I think 24/25 episodes in it's just exhausting to watch because you're like commmeeee onnnnnnn do something!
I very much enjoyed this thriller. That being said, I wish we got more of the military side of things - it felt kind of claustrophobic being in the apartments 24/7. I also hated the Andrew character. That felt so out of place. Everyone falling into madness was done great so why bring his character in? Odd decision. All in all though this got me leaning forward in my seat a bunch of times - the story was engaging and I loved the madness that ensued in the apartment buildings.
I felt like this is a little over hyped. The romance was 🔥 I'll give it that. However, it felt a little disjointed. First half was her learning the mobile game and that was pretty clearly defined. Second half was....? I'm not sure - them navigating life? It was a fluffy romance, green flag ML, and their interactions felt natural and organic. However if I had to hear how beautiful she is or how handsome he is for the 10,000th time I was going to lose my mind. I will still recommend this show to others based on their likes/dislikes, and overall it's worth the watch, but to me the cons were pretty even with the pros.
Above average cdrama short. If FL could kiss more naturally and wasn't so stiff it would have made the romance a bit more believable because those scenes were spicy. Still - ridiculous plot, typical tropes, really pointless love triangle, but even as I type all of that - it was still a better short than most if you want to shut your brain off for half a day.
This drama seems to be another hidden gem that I just chance encountered. This needs to be recommended more! This was not perfect by any means (who knew acupuncture cures pretty much everything!) but it did hit my emotions pretty hard. I adore the fact that this was continual time travel back and forth. I don't think I've encountered another drama like that. Now, I did not enjoy what he had to do in order to time travel. That seemed too morbid in my opinion. The story was nothing special - Rich vs poor. Powerful vs. weak; finding yourself. It was represented loosely so it didn't feel unique or special. FL and MLs chemistry was great, even though I thought she was so unreasonably awful to him in the beginning, she definitely grew on me later on. Overall this was still a great watch and one I'm adding to my recommend list for others!
Captivating story, amazing visuals, beautiful romance. This wuxia shocked me with how well done and beautifully told this was. The scarlet sect leader Wei Ju was my favorite. I don't know if they were going for a ditsy villain but he played his role so well and I laughed often. I highly recommend this. If Moonlight Mystique didn't release this year this would have been my favorite fantasy for 2025 releases.
wow, to think the competition was rendered pointless because grandma came to the rescue really left a bad taste in my mouth. The lead up to the competition and all the episodes surrounding it for it to be a nothing burger? What a waste. Think about it, if this competition wasnt a part of the show then it wouldn't have affected any part of the overall story. meh. I'm not looking for 24/7 romance here, but a legit story for her to save herself because everyone is against her and find a way to go back home. Let's get back on track, please. At least episode 10 started to get somewhere...
First time watching - GREAT drama. I was hesitant with the premise but it wasn't jarring or weird at all and it was very cute. It's kind of interesting watching in 2025 how much AI has advanced to almost AG-3 standards. I hated the English speaking actors. wow were they bad, but in my experience all kdramas with English speaking actors are relatively awful. I felt engaged the entire time, I rooted for the FL and ML, and I appreciated the fact that 2ML knew when to back off. All in all, this being 8 years old it still holds up, and I enjoyed it very much. Give it a watch if you're hesitating!
Don't present this wonderful divorcee as a single struggling mom when we see and talk about her daughter less than 5 times. The mom part irked me. If I was the 2FL and had ML act the way he did around me for so many years and be so kind and caring I'd feel deceived too. 13 letters and not a word. I disliked him for this. I don't care how kind his rejection was. Say something sooner! While the show as a whole was lovely, funny, sensual, and real - it really got to me in the first half. Her struggles and her trying to get by really struck me. I appreciated and enjoyed that. In the second half the romance lead up was good and I enjoyed that, but the story seemed to flatline. Overall, the MDL score is about right, and this is by far my favorite noona romance which I don't see many of.
