I got to know Susan Sun through her 2025 C-drama A Better Life, and after that I decided to check out more of her work. She represents what an actress should be, with genuinely strong acting skills. Many of the newer actresses tend to gain attention mainly for their looks, while others stand out because of their talent and performance. I haven’t watched this one yet, but based on the positive reviews here, I’ll definitely be watching it soon.

Privacy in public? Sure, bro. You want to live off exposure, make money from the attention those “netizens” give you, and enjoy all the benefits that come with it—but then get mad when someone records you in a public place? Come on.

It’s easy to act aggressive when you’re surrounded by protection. I doubt he’d behave the same way toward a man without that backup—and that kind of behavior likely wouldn’t go over well in the West.

I’m talking about the West. Was he at home or in a public place? If he’s in public, people filming him isn’t really their fault—you’re a public figure in a public space. Getting mad about that doesn’t make much sense.

That said, reacting aggressively usually doesn’t go well in the West—people tend to push back. Situations like this often involve women, which changes the dynamic; he probably wouldn’t act the same way toward a man unless he had security backing him up. Try that kind of behavior in the West and it likely wouldn’t end well.

So instead of ending up with the guy she dated throughout the show, Cai Cai actually got into a relationship with the main host, Darren Wang. While watching, I thought he was more interested in Michele Bai, so it was surprising to find out that he and Cai Cai ended up together after the show.

PS: I also just came across some news saying that Darren—the host who later dated Cai Cai—is facing a criminal investigation in 2025. Quite the plot twist.

You like the fake person you see in front of the cameras. Because elsewhere you don't know him, he is probably this animal when he is not recording.

And honestly, the reason doesn’t even matter as much as people are making it seem. Everyone is assuming she disliked the girl because of the guy DuoDuo liked, but that’s just an assumption.

Even if that was part of it, look at what actually happened. DuoDuo kept to herself. Meanwhile, the other girl kept pushing a guy—who liked DuoDuo—onto her, even though she clearly wasn’t interested. That’s annoying for anyone.
If I’m not interested in someone and people keep trying to push that person onto me every chance they get, I’d get bothered too. And I wouldn’t go out of my way to be nice about it either.

That’s basically what happened with DuoDuo. And if you pay attention, the people who were actually close to her didn’t do that—they respected her boundaries.

I had a blast watching her and liked that she didn’t bend to the cameras or the audience just to force a friendship with someone she wasn’t comfortable with—whatever the reason. I’m tired of people on dating shows acting fake for the cameras.

The best option is to watch the clips on YouTube as well. The full VIP episodes are about 1 hour and 10 minutes long, but they also release many 10-minute clips for free.
