On Hello, I'm at Your Service May 4, 2025
It was easy to watch, but like any other Chinese drama. It is about a CEO. lol 99% of chinese dramas are about CEOS so that might represent their society of 99% CEOs ina population of 1.4 billion people.

Yes watching other episodes, they do make it seem like that.
The rich boy isn't that good for her. I don't think that relationship will work.

I understand that she did. But yet, she didn't do anything wrong while being with XZ. She broke up with him before anything happen with anyone else.

And he is to blame for this relationship not work.

Yeah WY and XZ are not right for eachother and don't these writers dare to reunite them when XZ has made it....like…
agree with most of what you said, except for the part about WY accepting him at his worst. The truth is, he took her for granted over and over again. When he says things like "At least I have you" or "I'm lucky to have you," he’s basically dumping all the emotional and financial responsibility on her without ever really thinking about how she feels.

She borrowed money from her parents multiple times just to support him — and her parents were even willing to do more. But that’s not something she can keep doing forever, especially when all he does is mess things up and rely on her to clean up the pieces.

And with ML, he treated her poorly too, even though she’s done nothing but help him. He took her support for granted as well, and didn’t even care about breaking their deal — knowing full well she needs that money to support her child.

He never thinks about anyone but himself. Honestly, WY deserves someone so much better, even if he eventually gets his act together. And no — I don’t think that guy she had dinner with is the right one either.

She actually says it in episode 17. She tells him he only thinks about himself — that he’s self-centered and selfish. And honestly, I totally agree with you. I don’t think he ever deserved her. That kind of guy is just exhausting.

I don’t really see a resemblance in their “nerdiness” either. What I do see is that both men are weak and overly dependent on her. I’m glad she left her ex — he truly didn’t deserve her. And if the writers are planning to make something happen between XZ and the FL, he seriously needs to step up. She doesn’t need another failure of a husband. 😂

Lol looking at the preview of Ep 19, 20, I'm glad WY broke up with XZ. He deserves someone else, she's not the…
I don’t think so — he didn’t deserve her. She did so much for him, and now she’s just exhausted. She even borrowed a large sum of money from her parents to support him, trying to be understanding while he chased his dream. But he took her for granted, never really thinking about her — only about himself and his own ideals.

No woman wants to be with a man who’s always crying, never taking action, constantly throwing away opportunities, and judging everyone like he’s some moral authority. The same woman he judged so harshly is the one helping him now — bringing him clients, giving him a place to live, helping him save money so he can pay for his mother’s treatment. That says everything.

I totally understand she leaving him. Even when she needed his help with her boss, he couldn't be nice and play along.

True. So far I've loved 3 cdramas. Discovery of Romance, Reset and she and her perfect husband, though the ending of the last one was really disappointing too.
There are many others that are ok to watch, but they fall on that CEO plot that can become very boring aswell.

Discovery of Romance, the house of the FL is the same house of this show's ML.

Does anyone know why this drama is dropping in rating? Surely this deserves at least 7.9 This is a new and fresh…
The drama is overly silly, with a weak storyline mainly supported by attractive actors. Aside from the leads, the acting is poor, and the fake crying, especially from the male lead's best friend and You Ning, is irritating. The main character continually messes up but gets an undeserved free pass and continuous second chances, summarizing the show's flaws. A fair rating would be 6.5 or 7.0: 7 for the cast and 7 for music production, while the rest is weak.

DROPPED!! 7.5/10 till ep 16 (7.5 JUST FOR THE MAIN LEADS)I have to admit the leads were amazing and their chemistry…
I share your perspective and I have watched all of it. I often found myself fast-forwarding through many sections, as they were dull and unengaging. The only redeeming aspect is the relationship between the main characters. At times, I get the impression that the writers in China might lack real-life experience, as their dramas tend to be shallow.

I'm not sure why it was so well-received by the reviewers. The narrative is rather flimsy, and I feel like I spent more time feeling disappointed than truly enjoying it. It might be worth a watch if you're feeling bored, as the cast is attractive. However, the storyline is lacking and doesn't contribute significantly to anything. The main character frequently finds himself in trouble, often getting injured or falling off his bike—or any other place, for that matter. He only became a model because he was given countless of "second chances", which is something that wouldn't typically happen in real life.
The actress is beautiful so that alone was worth my 6.5/10 rate.

The chinese stream service who produced the drama, released it with an english name "Discovery of Romance", but…
There's no uniqueness or learning in the concept of choosing the name. As you said, it's always about marketing. Marketing is the same anywhere, specially if it's a remake. Like most remakes that have been made nowadays, the best way is always bring the name of the original to avoid being accused of plagiarism.

Chinese screenwriters are really bad. Lets just start by saying why it is only 1 screenwriter always? most good shows they have 2 or more screenwriters. Then the ending of chinese dramas are usually really bad and disappointing. I wonder why. It just make us feel like we wasted our time.
