On Special Invitation to Love Mar 24, 2026
Loved Meng XiXuanXuan, such a perfect couple. Also loved DuoDuo, besides the couple she was my favorite character. She was true to herself either people like her or not. She has her right to like or dislike people, to feel jealous or hurt, and she also has rights to not want to be friends with people doesn't matter the reason. If everyone was too nice this world would be boring.

This is very good. I binged in 3 days. The story is fast paced and tight, the cast has great chemistry and each…
You know what’s funny about your comment? China already bans gratuitous violence on TV and streaming platforms content. Their regulators simply don’t allow it, so what you’re seeing is already the toned-down version. Totally different from Western content, where it’d probably be way worse. lol

On Yes, I Do Season 5 Mar 8, 2026
This was so boring. The men were incredibly boring, lol. I wouldn’t be surprised if the show never had another season. But apparently there will be one in 2026.

If they keep choosing participants like these—people who join without any real intention of finding a partner—it’s always going to feel this dull. Men refusing to confess, people living in other countries who join just to waste everyone’s time, and participants who aren’t even willing to make an effort to get closer to the person they like.

So what’s the point then? Just chasing social media clout?

Love the PanLion couple! I've yet to find another cp who's as good as panlion. It's hard to find a good dating…
search for 'Love wins all', there is a nice couple in there, also watch 'So in love'. So in love is about people who never had a relationship trying to have their first relationship. The main couple in there is beautiful togehter. These 2 shows I recommended have better couples than Pan and Lion.

Does anyone have any updates on the final cps and if they are still dating?
I searched on youtube for this one after your recommendation and couldn't find it lol. Not sure if it is locked after membership. But still looking for it. I only watched season 1.

I was looking at their Douyin and weibo but it doesn't seem like they broke up.....
Did Ma and Susu really broke up? I feel bad of reading these news. They only lasted 6 months together, I had so high hopes for them both. Tell it is a lie :,(

I keep coming across clips of this show on my TikTok feed—would you say it’s worth watching?
If you haven't watched it yet, try watching - SO In Love, there is a couple there you gonna love too, and they are still together untill this day. The show starts slow, but it gets better as they get to know each other. One of the best I've watched aswell.

Why is this show so similar to live and love? 😭😭
In China, format similarities between shows are more common. It’s not handled the same way as in the West, where licensing and copyright protections for show formats are usually stricter. Production companies are often hired by different platforms to develop variety or dating shows. So if the same production company works with platforms like Tencent Video and Youku, you can end up with very similar-style shows airing on different platforms.

GUYS THEY DID NOT BREAK UP I JUST CHECKED THEIR DOUYIN I WAS SO SCARED LMAOOO
Love Actually Season 4 is pretty good. Twinkle Love is also good — I think I watched Season 4. I didn’t like Live and Love Season 2. Season 1 is basically the same as Love Wins All — you can see a lot of the same elements there. I’d also recommend Heart Signal Season 7.

If you like this Drama, look up Liang Tian (Eliza Liang). She also participated in the Chinese dating reality show Love Actually Season 4 in 2025. I had thought she only worked in television, not as an actress, so that was a surprise. After the reality show, she even has a new drama listed as TBA. She’s actually gotten prettier as she’s gotten older. In the dating reality show she ends up with a guy who is 8 years younger than she is

This show is perfect. The acting, production, story, and cast are all top-notch. Another outstanding performance by Qin Junjie—he’s been one of my favorite actors for a long time, and he never disappoints. It’s not your typical “CEO falls in love with a Cinderella” story, which might explain why the rating is so low. But if you enjoy crime investigation dramas, this is truly one of the best productions out there. It’s so well-crafted that you’d think it came straight out of Hollywood—thrilling, gripping, and always keeping you hooked, eager to see what happens next. And yet, it’s 100% Chinese, with an incredible production. I take my hat off to the creators of this drama, especially the writers.

I’m on episode 11, and I find Chen Ki Xi so annoying! I don’t know if it’s the way she says ‘老公’…
You mean she’s Chinese from Taiwan—that’s what you were trying to say, right? Anyway, I don’t find her annoying. But then again, I’m not Chinese, so I can’t really judge her accent. Personally, I think she’s a better friend than Luo Man.

I actually started watching this show because of Gao Ye, who plays Luo Man. But the character herself? Even though she’s supposed to be a screenwriter, she has a pretty shallow understanding of things. She constantly misinterprets her friend’s actions, and that ends up creating unnecessary drama between the two.

Culturally speaking, it’s not hard to see why many Chinese women feel trapped in their marriages. That’s often why they tolerate infidelity—even when it hurts. The culture still holds women back in a lot of ways. Many men still expect women to handle the house and raise the kids, while they do whatever they want. Just look at what men typically want in a woman: someone who can cook, clean, and take care of everything—basically, a maid. That’s why so many career-driven women in China stay single, especially in major cities like Shanghai. Most of them have zero interest in getting married under those conditions.

Title A Better Life Spoiler
I’m glad she was very successful in her career in the end—she truly deserves it. However, I didn’t like that she ended up alone. At first, I disliked the male lead for many episodes (almost half the series), but I think he showed a lot of growth over time. That said, I understand her choice to remain single, given societal expectations about her age.

It feels like people in China are too quick to judge, especially when it comes to age gaps in relationships. There’s so much pressure for everything to be serious—it’s as if she can’t even enjoy herself a little at her age.

I usually don’t like the endings of most Chinese dramas; there are only a few I’ve truly enjoyed. This one was mostly great, but the ending was just a 7/10 for me.
