Actually I also struggle in first ep—drama give me low budget vibes, strange costumes, CDL dubbed voice which was very strange for me. But after 2-3 ep, the costume where thousands times better (after all she got grand princess hanfu, which is super beautiful), the guy didn’t annoy me anymore (the sml), and the dubbing wasn’t that bad.

The politics aren’t overwhelming, nor very hard to understand. Also this is female-centric, tho I felt the chemistry between the leads. What I love the most, is that the villains are pretty interesting and intriguing! Also the female is lead is smart, and wants to master-mind everyone => Amazing drama!
