I haven’t readed this novel, but I’m reading “a bit similar” novel written by the same author. the fl is also thief I’m right now in chapter 4 so I still don’t know a lot but I’m enjoying it. it’s called “the black lotus of the great Ming”. it’s newer novel of the author.

I just finished. actually I quite happy with the ending…She will never learn from her mistakes and she will never pity the people she sacrificed. but she still got a lesson.She won’t anymore go to such lengths to go to the top just to fall to the very bottom. I wish more kdrama where like this! I give 9/10

if anyone is planning to watch the drama please watch the 2022 Taiwanese version. it has more clues and explanations. BUT this version more dwells into the emotions. it better portrays the mother

did anyone read the novel? Does the novel has more Time when the fl is baddas? Because I didn’t liked the drama for making the fl forget everything and not get back to her baddie era. like her personality changed and I don’t like her new personality at all

I didn’t drop TFJ, I liked it but it was a bit draggy I still enjoyed a lot ye li and her complications. What I didn’t like was BoP(the fl is like robot, I miss when in dramas lovers had equal love for each other. Also the ml just out of blue fell in love with her), love for you ( I really don’t like step sibling plot), kotph (I didn’t watch this, I’m not sure why) , overdo(not my cup of tea actors and I heard a lot about bad quality), road to success (not into modern romance dramas so I just skipped, maybe later will watch it).
