I'm not big fan of the actors, and I haven't watched "blossom". However I can't wait for this c-drama even thought im not big fan of Meng ziyi, but reading the novel I'm sure she suits the character and visual very much! How is this drama different from other these types of fiction-historical c-dramas? The difference is FL! If i would need to describe her in one word it would be "villainess". She is calculating, selfish and shameless. Reminding me of Princess Wanning from the double

it sounds very interesting! If anyone knows if there is English translation of the novel, please tell me! i searched everywhere, but only Chinese language is available as it doesn’t seem to have translation, I got very disappointed:-(

Im the only one who thinks this is like tteotm plot but reverse if ykyk. Other than that i dont want to compare it to tteotm as in my heart no one can supress it. And i think that BoR has many flaws..Its draggy and there is many dumb villains or annoying characters, but later after 18 ep it gets a bit better =) Im still watching, later will come and edit it

is the cdrama will be very different from the novel? This is my most anticipated cdrama, as she looks very ruthless and villainess to those who hurt her perfect to my liking, truly can’t wait for it to finally release =) Also a question, in tik tok edit I saw that she has like two personalities one just to survive and the other much more ruthless. Is this true?This looks very interesting

actually there are many more sci-fi cdramas and very much sci-fi danmei novels! Cdramas: reset, 19th floor (the most similar to those AiB games), Guardian, Justice in the dark, Three-body, the bionic life, derailment (even thought I wouldn’t call it sci-fi). it’s just that they aren’t popular and not about the surviving game, but they are still sci-fi

I love that more cdramas are coming with noir mystery vibe! shadow punisher, Liao Zhai and now this! I’m very excited =)

It’s number 1 drama in douban. It has been trending. I don’t know why, but here in MDL there is less than 200 comments :-(

Zhang dancheng and zhou xingsi, both were good friends. Shangguan hong lover of zhou xingsi and martial sister to dancheng.

dancheng came with Hong, because he wants to stop Xingsi “cruelty” But Xingsi as Sect master thinks that he came with Hong to control him with her and take the sect master position. So he stabs Hong in front of dancheng. Dancheng is heartbroken and wants revenge. But actually behind the scenes, Xingsi tried his best to safe Hong, he thought the stabbing wouldn’t have killed her! Yet the whole “his (Xingsi) show” turned into reality.Hong truly died. And Now Dancheng and Xingsi is in horrible feud. One thinks the other made him kill his wife and the other his friend in front of him…(Technically big misunderstanding)

Shangguan Hong a mother of Shangguan Chengming (son of Xingsi). ML is actually Wang Jiaxian! But with the help of Dancheng he acts as Shangguan chengming making Xingsi believe that Jiaxian is fake name while he is truly chengming the son of his! He understand that Dancheng want to make feud between him and his own son, because of the past. So now he (Xingsi) takes care of him, and also protects him. But this is all scheme of ML and dancheng. Since ML’s real name isn’t chengming

This is not an easy watch, I have to google a lot of times fo fully understand the storylines and events, even needing to rewatch as there is one plot twist right after another!

I’m on ep 10, I google for half an hour to finally understand what happened and who are (1) Zhang Dancheng and (2) Zhou Xingsi.If anyone is else confused I can explain =)
