Not a review (not qualified as this is first suspense chinese drama watched), just some thoughts to summarize…
I actually liked your “mini” review! I think it’s clearly qualified to post in reviews. I like how you put everything I wanted to say in words, while I’m still watching. The other reason is later this comment will get lost so i recommend to public it in reviews. Also people write here even “nonsensical” reviews like putting many emojis and few words and that’s all — a review (clearly not qualified, but no one cares that much)😅 Edit: I also think you should put spoiler tag as some people don’t want to get spoiled about ending and some other things
i feel very sad because of the rating, I understand that this drama wont be for everyone. But its clearly written in sinopsis, trailer, tags and genre! There isnt romance tag, so why do people expect it?Why want sweet fluffy romance or HE? When its clearly noir drama, even the poster! Look at the poster the fl is clearly threatening the ml with the hairpin! Dont we need more drama like these? Don’t we need more morally grey characters? Idol yet with non-romance plot.

Im droping it 13, as its not worth continuying…Even if… I liked the first episodes, as the relationship between grim reaper and goblin was super funny, i didnt really like the FL, but she wasnt the annoying stereotype fl either. So its more like neutral. And then it started dragging…I didn’t liked the dating part at all…The mystery, even thought the watcher already knows everything, its still dragging like we are dumb…And when the past life was near explaining where evrything got much more interesting, it was already too late as I have been lost. Rating 7/10

I think everyone has different taste, so I can’t say that you will like it or not, because that’s up to you. But I love both main lead actors, so i watched the first episode. I liked it and I’m going to continue, and I’m saying this as picky watcher, who truly gets picky when it comes to Dramas. It’s giving slice of life. Give it a try and decide yourself if you like it or not, just watch the first ep
I also feel like this. When I first heard about it I was super excited because of the premise about many lifetimes! But when I heard about love triangle I was upset because alen feng and Yao chi, I both really like them as actors. so I still continued watching it.
Now I feel like not anymore, I like how unserious sometimes it is. But I don’t like how the plot is going to. I mean with the premise with many lifetimes they could have thought something better, not just about the 2ML…
At first i actually (in first eps) I really loved how FL was smart, cold and capable; she really felt like a cool character. But now…not anymore. She lost me at the “party” scene; She started being annoying… But now that she doesn’t love either of them, and both ML are clinging to her while she doesn’t want either of them. Ugh, it’s feels abit, yea, when I would take any second one of them for sure as my husbands. Ofcourse her situation is absolutely different.
That’s all, it was a bit rant. But I’m going to see the comments when it will finish because I’m interested what will happen with the 2ML, will he end up as villain from 3000years ago as you said
good drama but yah we are definitely not getting romance as I hoped but , it is what it is . after what fl did…
right, we did lose romance BUT now her character is one of the most intriguing! And actually I’m quite happy we got some morally grey FL. most of them are either annoying or dumb in the “thriller” shows, so I’m very happy
I’m rooting for him to get his own happy ending and not end up sad like every other SML in other dramas, because…
I feel exactly the same. That’s why I don’t like love-triangles because always one gets hurt 😞 I hope he can find some other girl; rant: if it’s love-triangle why do dramas can’t give the second lead later a lover for a HE?
