Actually for action/mystery/horror/thrillers etc, the shorter the number and length of episodes, the better imo...if…
I agree, but for example if it’s adaptation from novel/manhwa or something, and normally are designed for more episodes, the drama feels very fast-paced and even sometimes not “full”. Then you can’t really immerse into the characters and story, because everything happens to fast

Thats the main problem with this show…Everyone is plotting against each other, yet it never moves. The whole drama is never ending plotting that takes nowwhere. But i should appreciate it, after all this is the first drama with truly extra-interesting characters. There is no hero, neither there is villain. That’s why i love this series. All characters are like human being, they have their “wants”, but doesnt they get tired from all this “drama”…? The show lacks actuall “plot”, “plot-twist”, “result” Advantages: “Fast-paced” “interesting politics” “interesting characters” “visual” “no annoying characters”
guys I think Deng and Xie could be enemies to lovers yk, it’s giving bromance vibes. I love them so much, it’s so nice to see them interacting, please someone write fan-fic for them!
