Um....sometimes ya'll just need to watch a show that better suits your beliefs/needs.

This is a silly take. And clearly misunderstands the show. She clearly likes him. He knows that. But she doesn't want to admit it b/c he's supposed to be the "bad" guy. If she's so righteous and on the "right" side of things why does she like the "bad" guy. Young Man Mu is just more honest about how he feels, a fact he points out to her all the time.

FL is starting to annoy me a bit. And that's not a bad thing, it's written that way b/c there is some deep inner-conflict going on with her. But she's so rigid in her thinking and wants to default to what she's been told her whole life over what she has clearly seen since she's been out in the world.

Yeah that was a good bit of comic relief.

Lord Song is the funniest character on this show.

Him mostly:

"Oh go let them explore the world, get to know each other, if they have to encounter a few demons along the way it's fine. It builds character. No rush. Sit and have some tea."

Rumor says it does. Tho if any series were to have a tragic ending it would be this one.

Man there about several prequels here. The four "demoness" aunts can all have their own series. They could just start there.

For all them being a demonic sect the Mu men are real yearners.

Yes. It has countermeasures, but they are difficult. And that is why they ERADICATED THE WHOLE SECT b/c it was successful and devastating.

The aprons are funny tho. And a bit distracting b/c of how ridiculous they look. lol

They explain the easy infiltration with the face shift and shows you why that sect was so readily eradicated. So they have people they use in time of trouble BUT the Demonic Sect which has been playing this for awhile likely got ahold of some of them and started shifting faces. Like it makes sense when you look at what they've told you.

It felt abrupt but not necessarily out of place. She already know he's not who he says he is. She's already "faked" outed him as part of the demonic sect. He can't go back b/c they think he's a plant so, while it seemed a bit abrupt, it would have to come sooner rather than later under the circumstances.

Don't worry about the ratings. Watch the first couple of episodes and see how you fee. I'd say watch the first 5 to get a good feel.

So apparently we're gonna have us a love quadrangle here, huh? lol

So are they laying the groundwork to make Consort Shu the villain?

No. Emperor is a weak ruler who's worried he could be deposed if Right Chancellor is killed or imprisoned. That's it. Unless or until he knew he had the power to rid the court of RC's factions he'll keep him around.

There was a throwaway line from the White Asura case basically saying he hadn't visited Consort Shu b/c the Right Chancellor did something to anger him. And they didn't really follow up on that so, yeah..that could be the coming play.
