She's not dumb or simple. Young, and naive yes. But they've shown her to be plenty clever and fierce when necessary. We don't need that "I'm just a girl" energy with this character. It's not fair to the character or us as viewers.
The drama clearly shows he's into her. And Qingyan is clearly worried about her marrying him (rightfully so) but I was wondering if she ever publicly reciprocated his feelings in the book.
