Yeah. I wrote that before I finished the series. She clearly knows and she clearly feels the same. Things are just, complicated. lol

She didn't tell him about the request. Also he doesn't do what she says. She's been trying to leave since they got there. She didn't want him to be commander. He does try and indulge her small things tho.

Exactly. She should have been the intellectual equal to QM - and agreed her brother wouldn't have ratted her out like that. That scene should have been her confessing to save her brother, but instead we turn him into a coward, it was just all off putting.

I'm clear on what they *tried* to do. But they didn't succeed. With one convo they humanized Liu Lan (father murderer) - they didn't do as good of just with Su Er Huang's characterization. They were too focused on making her a two-bit villian in my opinion.

I have a whole lot to write about this topic, but I'll just leave it at my one negative of this drama is the characterization of Ehuang. There's nuance there that they left out or barely touched to make her a b-rate villain. There's a much better story there that would have made her much more three-dimensional and sympathetic.

Yeah. He's just not a pretty boy. He's quite attractive so I never understood that talking point.

And the Drama is making decisions that don't make sense for its genre. Like how some of these decisions play out later in the show is very obvious. Making it a frustrating watch.

I'm not a new account. And it is fine to critique a show. Everything doesn't need to be positive - that is not how show discussions work.

I want to like this drama but it keeps doing stupid things. So I'ma pause on it and let it finish before I decide if I'm gonna watch it. Because some of the recent developments are terrible, especially for a revenge drama.

So who cut ol'girl's nose off and why? And does she marry Lady Wei's ex fiancee?

My Girl was having THOUGHTS in episode 15. lol
