This. Like the story lines work and actually work a little better if they are happy in a relationship. Can you imagine the drama of the Royal Princess trying to matchmake him while he's very happily married to Mudan? The kidnapping goes harder. The night in the palace is sexier. I don't understand the need to make the main character suffer so much. First season everything was balanced with her time with her friends and JCY. Now she couldn't enjoy her success and acknowledgement with the Emperor before it's more trauma. Sigh. It's okay for c-drama characters to be happy. I promise.
