i'm so worried about how they're going to handle the amnesia... usually as soon as i see a hint of the amnesia trope i drop the shows but i'm loving this drama right now!! so i hope they handle it alright

cute episodes but i'm still waiting for this show to pick up a bit. i don't think the 2 side couples were necessary (i get the snake lord and mei si but they could've easily cut the cousin and hu zhu) because their scenes really are dragging for me. I do love the dynamic between the leads so I hope we get more of them soon, especially of Zhuyu since i feel like we don't really know much about him

pei jiya is so annoying but if he didn't show up i fear zhuyu would've given up on wu zhen because of his duty :/ but he better not be in this show for too long i already despise him

I'm liking the show but I hope the plot starts moving a bit quicker in the next few episodes. They still don't know their real identities and we still don't have a main antagonist (though from today's episode i'm guessing it's going to be Zi Shu)

i wouldn't be surprised if the Sima clan had nothing to do with what happened to Ruling's people... i find her motivation too weak to explain her actions unfortunately, so she comes off very hypocritical. at least it seems like NianJiu and TingYan are finally starting to see how she really is, even though i feel like they will forgive her immediately

i love how Sima Jiao says he doesn't understand why she loves food so much but still gives her lots of delicious food because it makes her so happy :( the way he looks at her is so loving

Zi Shu is kinda sus so far, i feel like he's going to be a villain later when Wu Zhen and Zhu Yu get together :/

another great couple of episodes! I'm so happy we got an admission of feelings from Zhuyu even if it's not to Wu Zhen (yet). The story is more slower paced than I thought it would be, but i'm excited for more. I really am loving the dynamic we have between our two leads
