at first i empathised with Ruling because she just wanted to help her people, and in her eyes Sima Jiao was a bad person anyway. But now becoming allies with Shi Qianlv makes her automatically in the wrong, she knows what he did to the Yan family and to Sima Jiao and she still doesn't care. I hate that Ting Yan trusts her so easily ugh
Snake guy is pissing me off even more than Ruling, because what do you mean you and Sima Jiao have been together alone for centuries and suddenly you care more about serving a girl you met like 3 times?
just finished it and i'm feeling so empty. I wish I could give this a higher rating but unfortunately i did have some problems with it. However the couple is a 100000/10, i so wish we had gotten more of them together at the end, i absolutely adored them. I hope we get to see Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei work together again.
Overall a great drama, though my expectation were perhaps a bit too high.

yes exactly! Just put the war and the wedding in ep.34 and i would've been so satisfied with the ending. Instead, I hated CZ and what he did so much that it left a bitter taste in my mouth even through the happy ending
he's like obsessed with the "idea" of her... he doesn't even know her. they barely spoke and when they did he yan was just being polite. i hate him so much
