this is my first time watching cheng lei's acting and i thought his voice in this show fit him so well! I'm gonna watch My Journey to You soon, i usually prefer when actors use their own voices

the way they imprisoned and tortured him for 500 years and still have the audacity to act like he's the cruel one lol he's better than me cause i would've tortured them back for 1000 years

people are calling HRF too childish or not smart enough but i think that's the point? This is a man who's been stuck in a temple since he was born, with no interactions with anyone until he was like 30 years old. Of course now that he's free he's not logical and driven by anger. I hate the character of course but I think his behavior makes sense

love seeing CZ sad because his delusions are finally shattered but i'm kinda surprised by such a big reaction... i hope they don't go the "he's been rejected so now he's evil and insane" route

I just read spoilers about the novel. I'm a bit disappointed this current dynamic won't last the whole show because i am absolutely eating it up lol i hope i like the rest of the show as well

thank god they released two episodes, if we only got ep 27 with basically zero screentime of our leads i would've crashed out

a whole episode about chu zhao... nobody asked for this. if they have time to waste why couldn't they show more of our leads' backstories
